Chapter 10:

Chapter 10

School Days

Ursula didn't knew when she woke up. The sun was setting outside as she came back to her senses.

"Excuse me. Why am I here?," she asked the nurse in the room.

"You were sick, Ursula," she said.

"Oh, Sara. It's you! I didn't even notice I was at Dr. Forester's clinic," she said, laughing.

The nurse smiled at her.

"I'm so sorry that your Dad's death is taking a toll on your health, Ursula. I just hope you're alright," she said.

"Oh, no. It's nothing. I just had a little fever and it's gone now. So you don't need to worry about me," Ursula said, smiling.

"No, Ursula. Everybody is worried about you. After all, you lost such an important person and you have your mother and brother to take care of," she said.

Ursula was confused now.

"No. As I said, it's alright. You don't have to worry about us. Mom and Sawyer are all okay," she said, getting up from the bed.

"Oh, no. What's wrong? Why are you leaving? You've still not recovered properly!," the nurse said.

But Ursula didn't answer and ran out of the clinic. The nurse was yelling at her to stop but she didn't stop. She was confused and worried about her family. She was worried about her mother. She was worried about Sawyer. She was worried about the friends she had made. And she was most worried about the town she lived in, Jubilee.

She ran and ran until she reached home. She hastily opened the door and ran inside.

"Sawyer!," she yelled.

"Sawyer!," she yelled again when she didn't get an answer.

She was worried about her brother's whereabouts. She started checking all of the rooms in their house.

When she opened the door to Sawyer's room, he was asleep inside on his bed. Ursula was shocked but she was glad her brother was home.

She checked on her mother who was sleeping in her room. After that, she locked the doors and went to bed.

She thought she should say thanks tomorrow to the guy who had taken her to the clinic. But she would have to look for him and she didn't wanted to go outside. She was anxious and only wanted to stay at home.

She was still confused as to why everybody was so worried about her ever since her father's death. But she cleared her mind because she wanted to sleep and a clouded mind would not let her sleep at all.
