A frightning trio

As Pandemonium was about to bring his scythe down upon Sakura, I tapped his face with a burst of wind sending him flying towards the ground.

“Thou hast made a grievous error. I am Pandemonium, the omnipotent. Thou shan’t-“

“Shut up bitch!” I snickered as I healed up Sakura and warped her to safety.

“So thou is also omnipotent. Sadly, thou is no match for me,” Pandemonium grinned.

A level 4 Omni huh? Yeah, as soon as I noticed him, I planned to take him out before he could compete. Wouldn’t want one of the 8 mortals to get paired against him. His power was creating illusions. Of course, it wasn’t really anything special if you could see through it. Though he could effortlessly turn his illusions into reality.

“Foolish lamb. Thou will attack mine double while I slaughter thee,” Pandemonium thought as he snuck up on me. 

His smug expression vanished when his scythe was destroyed by my dark flame.

“So thou hast fire. Fire does not burn me,” Pandemonium declared as he coated himself in water.

I then decided to end it. I stood in place as his illusion approached me.

“Fuck you! I smirked as I flipped him off with my left middle finger.

His illusion vanished as his real body took the impact and flew through buildings.

“Im- POSSIBLE!” Pandemonium gasped as his eyes went white and blood erupted from his mouth.

Bet he didn’t expect me to actually hit him. He ended up smashing through the Colloseum before flying and crashing down in front of his subordinates.

“AH- AH- PANDEMONUM-SAMA!” Indigo mask and the nun screamed in terror as Pandemonium sunk into my dark ooze.

“Wh-Who art thou!? Pandemonium quivered as he found himself strung up in my execution dimension.

“Muramasa Jouzu,” I smiled.

“MURAMASA JOUZU!? AHHHHH!” Pandemonium screamed as I destroyed him with my dark flames of destruction. His vocal cords really went into overtime before he was destroyed.

Now then, time to level up the party.

“Oi, wake up you fools,” Ryuujin growled as he stomped on Ayaka’s stomach.

“What happened!?” Tetsuka growled as she groggily stood up.

“You were knocked out by an Omni’s illusion. But the guy was a smallfry, so Jouzu kicked his ass instantly,” Ryuujin smirked as he hoisted Ayaka over his shoulder.

“So what of these fools?” Honoka growled.

“Indigo mask and the nun are both level 99. Pick and choose,” I said telepathically to them.

Honoka went for indigo mask, while Tetsuka went for the nun.

“Thou art garbed in scandalous attire,” the nun scoffed.

“Shut it bitch, I’m punching your face in.”

Indigo mask then summoned a ball of indigo dye.

“Mine power is dye. I shall dye thy wool, lost lamb.”

Honoka simply went into fire dragon mode.

“Quite a waste, though I shall add thee to the pile of my slain foes. MOERU BRAND!”

Honoka one-shot Indigo mask sending him flying into the air as the kanji for “flame” burned into his chest. He was dead upon impact with the ground. I quickly destroyed him as the nun gazed in terror.

“Thou shan’t have an easy time with me. Mine power is holy glow. I can turn into holy light,” the nun declared as she charged towards Tetsuka.

“So what’s the difference between holy light and normal light? Is it faster?” Tetsuka asked.

“No, it simply eviscerates more easily than normal light, lost lamb.”

“Oh, well if it’s light…”

Tetsuka then encased the nun in a box of metal.

“Doust thou- Ugh!”

The nun coughed up blood as a spike impaled her.

“Fool, I can turn into holy light. Solids shan’t hurt me.”

The nun then turned into light as the spikes fazed through her.

“I shall purify this unholy- hmm? It seems the floor has- AHHH!”

The nun screamed as she began to burn to death.

“Guess magma from the core is hotter than your light. Hope you enjoyed your elevator to hell bitch,” Tetsuka smirked as the nun burned away.

I then destroyed her soul with my dark flame, thus ending the threat of Pandemonium and his two subordinates ever coming back. Guess Averice didn’t value them much as they only had low-tier pacts with him.

The best part was that Honoka was now level 99 and Tetsuka was now at level 85. I’d prefer to turn these two into Omnis simultaneously considering how close they are. Plus, it’d be better to have two new Omnis at once.

Welp, time to get the key.

Sakura smiled as she stared down her opponent.

“Sorry, but this is my wrath,” she stated as she turned into razor sharp sakura petals and sliced her opponent to bits.

“The winner is Sakura,” Ricardo sighed as he began healing the poor fodder.

Matteo frowned as he put down his phone, as Alana shot him an odd glance.

“So that was Alana’s guy then. I assume the 1st round was against Matteo’s guy, so that means the second round was either between Penelope or Francis. I think they want all the factions to fight each other once before mixing it up,” Ramona thought.

For the 4th round, Ayaka was pitted against a young man with red hair.

“Ayaka Himesaki vs Timothy Bombino, begin,” Ricardo grumbled.

Timothy immediately spawned barrels of TNT and threw it towards Ayaka.

“The sight of you disgusts me. It reminds me of my corrupted sister,” Timothy scoffed as the barrels exploded.

When the smoke cleared, Ayaka was inflated like a giant soap bar.

“So are you a shield?” Timothy scoffed as he threw another barrel at Ayaka.

“Ngh! Mmph mmph mmph ngh!” Ayaka growled as the barrel bounced off her and back towards Timothy.

“You know I am immune to my own explosions, yes?” Timothy scoffed as he brushed the soot off his suit.

Suddenly Ayaka returned to normal and ran up to Timothy.

“Mmph ngh mmph!” she yelled as she kicked him in the face.

Timothy scowled, but before he could react, his face suddenly began to disfigure, and he was sent flying as his body began to turn into a ragdoll.

“Guess you can’t handle the pressure needed to stand in my presence,” Ayaka smirked as she removed her gag ball.

Timothy’s mangled unconscious body was pulled out of the wall by Ricardo.

“Now for an announcement, all bosses are required to leave once their 5th subordinate has fought. The guards that came with them are required to fight 5th,” Ricardo announced.

“Looks like I’m up. Wonder who I’ll be fighting,” Zeno smiled.
