Finishing my scan of various items, it was time to return to adventurer’s guild to submit the goblin ears and complete the quest.

Then I will decide what to do with all the items. Of course I will give the ID’s I found to the guild.

Gathering my things, I went to the guild.

There at the collection center I submitted total 69 goblin ears. Since today again it was 5 pm now and the rush hour, the guild employee did not have much time to comment about the quantity.

Although he did ask me where I found so many goblins.

I decided to obediently tell that I had stumbled upon a ruin in Ghalia forest that had a large number of goblins and a hobgob too.

Saying that I also gave him the full body of hobgoblin which I was carrying on the wheelbarrow, I had rented again.

Seeing the whole hobgoblin, the collection center employee did not react much and simply ordered a nearby helper to deposit it in the appraisal center.

He then asked me the details about where the ruin was and what I found.

But since it was rush hour, he told me to come in tomorrow morning to give the full report to the receptionist in the guild and also receive my reward.

He wrote something on a booklet and gave me token.

After that I returned to the orphanage. Today I did not defeat any rabbit or collected any fruit so I did not bring any souvenir today.

Also I was mentally exhausted by the sights I saw today so I told sister Dorthy that I was tired and would like to sleep.

She agreed and I immediately went to sleep.

I woke up quite early. It might not even be 4 am right now. Generally I get up at 5 and do morning training including meditation, sword practice, running, muscle training and mana manipulation practice.

Today too I followed my routine. I am getting quite better at sword and mana manipulation.

Today I was able to move mana from my navel to finger tips. I then rotated it through whole middle body.

But I was only able to do so for 10 minutes and then I started sweating very badly.

Its quite tough. But my speed is still very high considering Zephy san said that this training took atleast one year.

And regarding my mediation, I did not experience the same spiritual phenomena after the day at Syndell.

But my Aura did increase a little due to regular meditation. Surprisingly Aura does not increase with level though.

Seems like there are special divine spots to get quick results for that like the Syndell.

There is a reason the Syndell is made in a particular place it seems.

Maybe in the past, some great divine power appeared there or attained enlightenment there.

I will visit Syndell again today.

I have calmed down after sleeping, from yesterday’s events.

I need to develop my mental strength to face such events because this world is such a place where such events happen every day.

Regarding the things I collected. I have decided to take all the weapons, armors, tools and bags for repair to Yunaris san.

I may sell some or keep all and will decide after repairing them.

I am keeping the potions and magic stones ofcourse. Right now since I don’t need money, its better to keep them and sell them only in emergency.

The clothes will be given to orphanage if Dorthy san approves and it does not disgust them.

Because the clothes were dirty with blood and need repair here and there, the children might not want to wear those.

And regarding the rings and the locket, I will ask the guild to look into the deceased people’s family.

If their relatives wanted them as keepsake, I will give it to them.

both rings are made of silver and have a small gem stone in middle, so they must be expensive.

The locket is made of regular simple material but there is a photo in it.

The photo is ofcourse a miniature painting and not the digital photograph, since no cameras exist here. I will also ask about it in the guild today.

After a quick bath, I helped waking up the children and preparing breakfast.

Lily and the sisters at the orphanage were worried about my health, since I slept early.

I assured them that I was doing fine but Lily still seemed concerned.

The sister Camilla was taking care of her though.

After asking Dorthy san and others, I was told that it was ok to give the clothes I got from the ruins to the sisters, so that they could re stitch them to fit the children.

Then as told by the guild employee at the material submission center, I reached the guild reception early today.

I realized that I reached quite early and there was only the pink haired Gloria san at the counter present today.

I did not expect her to be the one who comes first.

Since she is considered as the most beautiful of all the receptionists here, I assumed that she would be the one who would slack off the most.

But it seems my assumptions were wrong.

I walked up to her to tell her the purpose of my visit.

I have learnt enough common Ellisium language to carry out basic conversation. So I talked to her without using telepathy tool.

“Hello, Is the reception open now?”

“Yes? Of course, Oh….aren’t you the weird person who always comes and stare at Tina senpai?....

She isn’t here yet you know, so come after sometime. Or is it that, now I am your next target now?”

Seriously! Now I am being considered as some weird person.

I did not know I was being seen like that. Moreover as expected of a short pink haired girl, she is annoying.

Let’s ignore her narcissistic comments.

“Actually I am here because yesterday someone at the collection center told me to visit early in morning and show this token.”

I handed her the token. She read it and then told me to wait and went upstairs.

I hope I will not be called by the guild master or something.

After some time she came back carrying a bag of money and a sheet of paper.

“I am sure it must not be anything big and you must have bought them with money…..,

because there is no way a F rank like you could survive in Ghalia forest…..

and kill so many goblins and a hobgoblin. So its not worth reporting anyways….

But since its written here to give details, here! take your money and write here the lies you want to tell about how you killed those goblins…..

Seriously, how dumb can you be to deposit them on the same day…..

If you had waited to deposit them 10 each day, you could have earned more guild points…..

Seems like she is assuming I bought the goblin ears and hobgoblin body from market with money to move up in rank.

I thought that she was a sincere person since she came first but it seems she was being ordered to do that.

Also she did not report me to the higher ups and I was saved from meeting the guild master.

I was also saved from being scolded for entering Ghalia forest.

This haughty receptionist unknowingly did a good job for me. I got the money without getting in trouble.

But what about the Id’s of the dead people, I should give it to Tina san instead.

Taking the paper, I wrote that I found some ruins and there I killed some goblins and a hobgoblin.

I did not write the number of goblins or about the things I found there or about how I killed them.

After submitting the paper, I decided to wait. The pink haired beauty took the paper and shoved it carelessly somewhere.

I am sure it will be misplaced soon. But since I got my money and guild points, that is all that matters.

And I am sure even if the guild does not know about a goblin nest or two being cleared in the Ghalia forest, it will not matter.

All that was left was to submit the Id’s of the killed people to Tina san.

Soon other receptionists arrived including Tina san. The adventurers also increased and the pink haired Gloria was soon surrounded by adventurers.

I went to Tina san to accept Goblin quest and mana mushroom and Cucuma herb collection quest.

I also told her that I found the ID’s of some people with goblins and some other belongings as well.

I asked her that if she could tell me the name of the deceased and their origin, so that I could give the belongings to their relatives.

She took the ID’s without becoming suspicious and told me to wait.

There were two wooden Id’s and 3 metallic ones. Out of them the 3 metallic ones were adventurers ID and wooden ones were simple citizen ID.

It seems that the magic tool at the guild and the one at city center has same main hub and it was possible to check the data of any type of ID from anywhere.

After some time Tina san came back and told me that the adventurer cards belonged to three D rank adventurers whose home town was Hange village.

It seems that the village was about 4 days distance from this Detroit city. As for the citizen IDs, they belonged to 2 women from Hange village too.

I decided to submit a request to deliver the Id’s to the Hange village city center along with the message to contact me if the relatives of the deceased needed something from the belongings of the dead and describe the particular belonging.

The guild already had the obligation to deliver the Id’s to the deceased village city center, so it was only the additional message that cost me 2 silver.

But I was also paid 1 silver back for bringing the tags. It is a system where important information is paid for.

Thankfully my worst fear had come to pass and this had nothing to do with Lily’s Doza village.

The goblins that attacked Doza villagers were actually quite different. They were under the command of that named Scarlet goblin.

There is also the problem of monster stampede. Maybe those goblins also joined the stampede. I just don’t know.

After that, I went to reference section to learn about mana mushroom for my quet.

After finishing my errand at the guild I decided to go to Nyxia san’s shop to get the weapons and armors repaired.

Thankfully the teasing Onee san was busy with customers so I did not have to deal with her.

Today she was wearing a very gothic style light blue bikini armor. Saying a brief hello, I went past her to go to Yunaris san.
