Enemies already?!

"Great, glad to have you aboard, Nero-kun."

"Just Nero is okay, no need to be so proper, really."

Now that it's the three of us, Sachi and Masuki have been spending a lot more time together. I guess her having another female friend to talk to must be a good thing.

I need to find myself a friend like Sachi, someone I can rely on.

" I think I can provide for you!"

Huh? Did someone hear what I said? I thought talking in my head is normal, how could he hear me?

"I can read peoples minds, my friend. It's not that difficult to know what someone is thinking at all times."

"O-Oh, makes sense I guess. Uh... Nice to meet you, I'm Nero Toujo, 3rd-year."

"I go by Tomo, pleasure meeting you, I'm a second year."

"Ah, so your my junior then?"

"Ding Ding Ding! Indeed I am your junior Nero-senpai!"

You know he looks really like a girl, maybe I'm imagining it but I swear he could be a she.

"H-Hey, cmon don't talk about me right in front of me."

Huh? Why would Tomo be blushing if it's coming from a guy? This kid makes no sense but I enjoy knowing now that I have a new friend, even if he is a feminine looking boy.

"So Nero-senpai... what is you magical ability?"

Once he asked me that question, I sat and really spaced out for the first time since I killed my parents. What is my magical ability? I don't even know for certain what is the limit to my power, even from when I took the test to enter this school 

*Flashback*

"Okay, so here at Kouhai Academy, we test all of our new students and incoming first years with a magic aptitude test. We need these test in order to see how strong your magical ability is with each of the elements of magic. So, for this years test we are going to have the 3rd years go first, since they are the seniors of the school."

"Mr.Toujo, your up."

Okay, just breathe and remember the feelings you had that day and maybe the powers will come out. I don't think I'll need a lot but just enough to pass the test.

Shoom!

"My word! This is incredible! You posses magical aptitude for every kind of magic? This is unheard of, the last time someone like this could do this was over 4,000 years ago during the ancient demon war!"

Chatter fills the room with excitement and surprise.

"I-Is this okay? I mean I broke your glass for testing the magic, what about the other students?"

I did just explode a crystal ball, I mean how much power do I really have?

"Nonsense! This is amazing, you are going to be put into the class of the strongest magic users in the school!"

"Ms. Toujo your up next aswell!"

After that whole thing, Masuki and I ended up in the class with the best magic users in the class. Even in this class, there seems to be a skill difference from the front of the room all the way to the back of it. I guess they do it by strength in this class because I'm in the front and she is in the 3rd row.

[Writers notes: seems the plot has thicken, I wonder if Tomo is as true as a person as he says he is, or if he is even a he at all? I wonder...
