Reunion in Paris

“Huh!? Paris!? Why!?” Nika asked.

“Don’t you wanna see the catacombs?” I snickered.

“YO! That’s prime content baby! I’m in!” Kumi smiled.

Nika groaned in annoyance as I warped the party to Paris.

“Feel free to check out the other sights,” I snickered as the party dispersed.

Ryuujin, Zeno, and Ayaka went to the Eiffel tower, while Honoka and Tetsuka went to the Arc de Triumph. Nika and Kumi elected to simply walking around.

Suddenly, something happened. I sensed Averice placing down a barrier where Kumi and Nika were.

“Shit. Well guess this was going to happen eventually,” I grumbled as I summoned my remaining party

“YO! I’m gonna check out that shop!” Kumi stated as she ran away.

Nika grumbled as she decided to wander around alone. As she was walking, she came face to face with a frightening woman. The woman had pale skin and was completely devoid of hair. Lightning bold tattoos adornered her body along with piercings. Most disturbing though was her sewn mouth and soulless pink eyes.

“I’m sorry to bother you madam,” Nika stated as she tried to walk away.

The woman clasped her hand on Nika’s shoulder causing her to get defensive.

“The hell’s your problem!?”

“Mmph!” the woman grunted.

Though it was just a small verbal grunt, Nika went pale as she recognized the woman’s voice.

“K-Kasumi? Is that you?”

The woman then pulled out a knife and slashed the threads binding her mouth.

“Yes, it’s me,” the woman replied.

“WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU!? YOU LOOK LIKE A FREAK! I WAS SO WORRIED WHEN YOU LEFT, BUT NOW YOU’RE HERE!” Nika happily cried.

“Yes, I’m here to execute you,” Kasumi replied.

“Huh? *Sigh* You just had to ruin the mood with your dark joke.”

“It’s not a joke. I’m going to kill you and Miku.”

Nika struggled to process her sister’s words.

“*Sigh* How naïve are you? I’ve ALWAYS hated you two. I’ve also always hated our damn aunt,” Kasumi glared.

“Seriously, I get that you’ve always been like this, but try to read the room a bit. I’m just happy you’re alive.”

“Perhaps I need to give you a crash course in how I truly feel about you.”

Kasumi’s hand then became encased in electricity as she slammed it into Nika’s gut. Nika screamed in pain as electricity coursed through her body.

“Why?” Nika cried as she twitched on the ground.

“Because I hate you,” Kasumi replied as she threw a giant cross on the ground.

She then gagged Nika and placed a sack over her head before nailing her to the cross with metal stakes. She then hoisted Nika and the cross upside down on her back as she headed for the catacombs.

As she entered, she was stopped by a woman with long blonde hair.

"And what are you doing here? This is my game," she glared.

"Move it, I need to execute this trash," Kasumi glared as the woman begrudgingly moved aside.

"Very well, I will adjust the game. Do be aware that your cousin will likely show up."

"Perfect, then I can kill her as well."

Kumi walked through the crowd holding her selfie stick. She then noticed a group of girls running for the catacombs.

“Oh right, I wanna tour those.”

Kumi ran over to the entrance only to find it had collapsed.

“Boo! Fix this shit dammit! I wanna see the catacombs!”

“There you are,” Tetsuka said.

Kumi turned to find my party standing before her.

“Sweet! Group catacombs tour!” Kumi shouted.

“The situation’s a little more dire,” I said telepathically.

“Jouzu? What’s going on?”

“Averice has thrown down a barrier over the catacombs. I imagine it’s to prevent me from messing up your reunion with Kasumi.”

“Wait, Kasumi’s here?”

“Yeah and she’s signed a pact with one of my foes, making her an enemy. She also has no qualms with killing you and Nika."

“Well, yeah I kinda knew that. She’d always act dark and gloomy and went on and on about how she hates us. Nika’s the one who thinks she’s a tsundere.”

“She’s also pretty high ranking. Worst of all she’s Averice’s golden girl. There might also be some others lurking around. Ryuujin, there's a Minute lurking around as well. He's a level 35 Omni so it should be enough to satisfy you. Everyone else, focus on getting Nika out of there. Honoka's the only other one that would stand a chance against her and even then, there's still some nasty foes lurking around."

This was going to be a challenge. In addition to Gula's marauder, Averice had also sent one of his more troublesome Omnis. Luckily, that one was likely to lie in wait, though there were also some high tier mortal power holders in addition to Kasumi. It was going to be a vicious match, though as long as they hold out, I'll reap the rewards. As for this petty little barrier...

*Whoosh*

I destroyed it in an instant. Welp, now it's open season. If that troublesome Omni makes a move, I blast him into space.

Nika groaned as she awoke in darkness.

"Ugh, everything hurts. Wait! Where am I!? _!? I'm gagged, have a sack over my head, I can't move, and I'm upside down. What the hell is going on?" Nika thought.

Suddenly, something metallic slammed into her face breaking her nose. Nika let out a muffled scream as Kasumi brutally beat her. Kasumi then coated her shoe in electricity and resumed kicking Nika's head.

"MMPH!" Nika cried out in pain.

"Does it hurt? It damn well better considering how much I hate you," Kasumi growled.

"MMPH!? (Why)"

"Why? Because I'm a damn triplet. If you two hadn't been born, I would have had far more individuality. Instead I was stuck being tied down to you two! Though, I guess it did come in handy for taking down our aunt. Do you want to know what happened the night before I left? I tricked her by pretending to be you and sliced that bitch's tongue out on the spot! Yuni was so distraught when I told her this a few days- _!"

The beating suddenly stopped as Kasumi left to check something out.

"Nika cried due to both the physical, and emotional damage she received.

"No, that can't really be Kasumi. She'd never do all those things, she'd never beat me to the brink of death. Who did that to her?" Nika tearfully thought.

At the entrance, Ryuujin used his gravity to open the way.

"Shouldn't collapse now even if you go wild. Have fun rescuing Nika, I'm gonna bash that raven guy," Ryuujin smirked as he gazed up towards an anthropomorphic raven in a pirate outfit.

The others fled inside as Ryuujin flew towards the raven.

"Yo! You looking for something beak boy?" Ryuujin smirked.

The raven countered Ryuujin's blow and jumped away.

"Putting me on the defensive? I think not," the raven glared as he whipped out a tome.

"Heh? Looks like you'll be a lot more fun than the last two," Ryuujin grinned.
