Compared to goblin, its quite strong. But its Agility is less.

The rock bear was stronger though. I don't know if it will die in a single attack.

But if I pierce his throat from behind with a single thrust of a sword, there is a little possibility of it surviving.

First I killed a few lone goblins with dagger. Now it was time to kill my first orc.

It's a greenish brown bipedal ugly monster with a face of a warthog. It has two tusks coming out from side of its mouth. Its height is about 5 feet 8 inches.

I sneaked behind it and thrust my sword in its neck. I immediately pulled out my sword after that.

But something unexpected happened, the orc turned around and launched a swing with its club while trying to roar.

Since its larynx has been cut, so just low grunts came out.

I tried to block the club, but the force was strong and I was knocked down on ground.

Thankfully no one noticed the voice of orc and me fighting.

I was afraid of second attack, but that never came. The orc, while struggling to breathe, fell down and died.

Seemed like it was his last ounce of vitality it used. Orcs are definitely not like goblins. I realized that now.

I would have to pierce and slice their throats and get away from them, otherwise the same thing can happen.

I finished some more goblins first. Then I carefully killed some orcs too, while being careful to not getting attacked by their last attack.

After killing about 15 goblins and 8 orcs, the only ones left were group of 4 goblin archers and 5 orcs huddling together around a big tree.

The tree was very tall and had a thickness of 3 meters at its base. But the weird thing was that out of all the trees here, it was the only tree that was completely dry and was black in color.

Moreover, the mana seemed to be flowing vigorously in that direction as if being sucked in by the tree.

I used my second assassin technique that I developed. I used the roasting food method that I used previously while exploring the ruins to separate the enemies.

I know I am very repetitive in my approach but I don't want to fight head on with a large group of monsters.

I roasted a rabbit that I had in my item box. But this time surprisingly only 2 orcs came to check on the smell while the others remained and guarded the place.

Seems like they are not like those untrained goblins which only worked on instincts.

Moreover, they have armors and better weapons too.

Regarding their loot, I am thinking that, I will hide my loot in the hideouts itself after clearing them, because I cannot return now and I don't know how much I will end up acquiring.

So I will be back to collect it when the whole thing about this is over.

Anyways, the two orcs that went to check on the roasting rabbit meat where they were further separated by another roasting rabbit a little distance away.

And in this way they ended up being eaten by my sword instead.

Repeating the same thing I killed all the orcs and goblins in 3 turns.

This tactic still works, even though the enemy is a little intelligent and organized.

But the most surprising thing that I saw here was monsters organized and two different species fighting together.

Were they trained to do so? or are they under some kind of spell.

I have to find out. After hiding the bodies and taking the armors and weapons off, I went near the tree.

The atmosphere is very spooky. The surrounding tree are blocking the sun and in the middle, there is this huge black leafless tree.

At the base of the tree there was a hole going deep inside. The hole was just enough to fit one big man.

I cautiously went inside. The inside was so dark that I could not even see my hands. Even with spirit eyes, I could only tell the way and nothing else.

Maybe the vampires can see in the dark that's why they live in caves and such.

Charlotte san had a normal house though. I think that might be because she can live in the sun due to being a true vampire.

After entering the cave, I started hearing growls and someone talking. I am sure there are some monsters and vampires here for sure.

Moreover, they can see me clearly while I cannot. If I came into direct sight of a vampire, my conceal will not work and then I am as good as dead.

So I walked very carefully while crouching and sticking close to walls. Thankfully the inside was like a maze with many turn so it was easy to hide in corners and check while peeking.

With spirit eyes I can easily make out monsters and such without needing light as the mana movement and shape forms differently inside a living being.

So its not impossible to continue.

After some more twists and turns I came very close to the source of noises. They are probably just around the corner.

I took out my rock bullet wand in my left hand and gamma beam wand in right. I don't want to take chances so I will snipe off the vampires first if there are only one or two of them.

I peeked around the corner. What I saw was nothing I had imagined.

According to mana flow, I was at a higher level here and there was a huge area below here.

There were a large number of monster shaped mana being kept in one place. There were goblins in one place and orcs in another.

There were also three bigger mana shapes that were surrounding a place where all the surrounding mana had been flowing into continuously.

This seems to be the cause of all mana flowing haphazardly here.

What the hell is going on here. It would have been so much better if I could have bought a night vision magic tool too, but I had no money.

Anyways, after some time something unexpected happened, a monster shaped mana was formed from the huge source and as soon as it was born, two of the bigger mana sources that were human shaped, retrained it and took it to the place where goblins were kept.

From all this I can assume that that source of mana is capable of producing monsters after some time and the three people there are using it to capture these monsters together.

Bingo! It's a vampire of level 45 . He is 90 years old and his stats are 4 to 5 times his level. And the surname suggests that he might be a noble in vampire society.

But right now he seems injured or weak. Maybe he got injured while restraining the monsters. He has also used some MP.

I scanned the other three too. The other three had similar stats. Seems like they are working together to capture monsters.

Now then, how should I deal with them?.

I decided to wait and see if I can get some luck opportunity.
