Chapter 20

It was finally Monday, the day of the party. I had chosen the outfit I was going to wear and I had also thought of asking Senpai what was the matter with the student council the other day, too.

I dressed up and left my house at 8pm. I got to the school at I guess, 8:20pm or something. Our class looked amazing as it was decorated. I wanted to go see Senpai's class too but then I thought he would think I went there for him so I didn't. 

I was wearing a black colored dress that got me a lot of compliments but I wanted Senpai to compliment me. I don't think he would, though. Gosh!

Now it was time for the Christmas carols at 9:30pm. The music club, including me, had set everything up already in the auditorium yesterday. All of us were a bit nervous but very confident altogether. 

The lights went on and president Kawasaki greeted everyone and all of us introduced ourselves to the crowd. I'm not going to lie but when I said my name, Senpai, who was of course a photographer there, looked at me and we blushed when we made eye contact. Senpai, don't stare at me!! Ahh!

We started with 'Joy to the world' and we ended with 'All I want for Christmas is you'. The crowd went crazy at Nanami senpai's high note at the end. It was amazing!!

Later when the party was over at 12:30pm, it was so dark outside and I was a bit scared to go home alone. Papa told me that he would pick me up if he wouldn't be busy but I guess he was busy so he didn't come to pick me up. 

I finally left school after waiting for so long at I guess, 1:05am and guess what? The trains were gone! All the trains were gone and would resume activity in the morning. Now I had no choice but to walk home. 

So I quietly walked home in the darkness with only the moon's light and the light of the lamp posts to guide me. I was mad at Papa but I would forgive him because it's Christmas so it's fine. 

The walk home was long usually but this time, it felt too longer than usual. As I was walking, someone's dog, which was a rottweiler, started to bark at me when I passed by the garden it was in. I was already scared and now this dog was creeping me out!

I didn't know what to do! I didn't know if I should leave or just stand there! It didn't had a leash on. It was just there in the garden and the gate that led outside where I was, was open! I was so scared. The dog kept glaring at me and I was getting more scared. 

Then I took a deep breath and left it there and just when I started to walk away, the dog ran outside. Oh my God! I screamed my lungs out!!
