I just don’t know why such things are lying here rotting. Maybe other vampires can’t take them because of the light of these light magic tools.

But Charlotte san’s grandfather could have easily come here because he was also a true vampire. Or is it that he only kept them safe here because he knew that other vampires would want them after his death and created these traps and lights on the ceilings and walls to prevent these vampires?

Also the light does not seem to effect the Draugrs though, so it’s not something like holy light.

Because these lights are too strong and have a heating effect too, maybe they burn the vampires.

Thinking that maybe I could take one with me, to use it against a vampire, I tried to dug one out and take it but it was quite rigidly fixed so I could not break the rock around it.

Anyways, back to the cloak, it has small magic stones embedded in the collar that supply energy as well as make it look quite aesthetic.

The designer of this cloak has quite a good taste. They are B rank magic stones of death slimes. Although small they still have so much mana inside them.

Seems like the death slime materials are quite versatile. But from its name it’s clear that it is not an enemy to be taken lightly.

The next thing was the hat. This black hat is also an A class equipment. It is made of Black Basilisk leather and has light magic absorption upto 40% which is quite good.

It also has gravity magic enhancement upto 20 % and has fire, water and electricity resistance too.

At first this whole set of hat, wand and cloak might seems like a magician cosplay, the ones used by those who appear in a circus and pull out a rabbit from their hat, but here in this world, it is an A class rare equipment specially designed for a vampire who can use specific attribute.

Since there is magic augmentation here that means this equipment was made keeping in mind that the owner would use ancient type magic as well because I don’t think clothing can augment the modern magic since it’s done using mana from magic stones completely.

So these vampires were using both modern magic using wand as well as their attribute magic which was also augmented by their clothing. They must be quite great magician.

But the thing is that since I cannot use ancient magic yet so these are of no use to me. But I still stored them in my item box.

I then went to the rooms on right after opening them with the help of my scan. The first room on right was similar to other 2 on left but this time the aesthetic seemed like it was made for a woman.

This became more apparent as there were women clothes lying in the cupboard in the room. Similar to other rooms there was also a chest in this room too.

I opened the chest and inside was a beautiful red dress and a wand. The dress was an A rank magic augmented clothing and it had augmentation of gravity magic, and illusion magic. It had no absorption of light magic though.

The wand was also an A rank magic wand but unlike the previous one it had multiple magic installed in it. It had fire storm, float magic and mind confusion.

They all seemed very strong magic by their names. But again I could not use them without incantation it was a waste. Ofcourse I tried guessing it and even tried if it worked without spell but nothing happened.

After storing the equipment I moved onto the next room. This too was a woman’s room and had A rank equipment in the storage. This time it was a sexy black leather crop top and shorts.

The clothing had augmentation of dark magic (50%), and ofcourse it had light absorption too. There was a wand too and had two magic, shadow bind and poison mist.

Again both the magic seem very awesome but I have no means to see them in action.

There is another thing I realized. Not only the wands are useless for me, the cloaks and hat is also useless because, I don’t know what my magic attribute is and if that could be augmented by it.

Moreover I don’t need light magic absorption since I don’t think the vampires would use light magic against me, since that would be stupid as they might accidently burn themselves.

So all I can do is store this equipment and sell it to some good vampires like Charlotte san.

Isn’t this the perfect apology gift for her, considering I was so rude to her and she helped me so much even after all that.

The magic stones on the dress and the cloak were also from B rank monsters. They all were at 30 % capacity right now.

Why don’t they use the same technology as the one magic circle I saw in previous dungeon. It was using magic stones to suck up mana from surroundings and using it, that way there is always infinite mana.

No, Now that I think about it that magic circle was simply speeding up the process of dungeon core.

So the dungeon core is the one that has the function that could absorb mana from air and use it and not the magic circle. I don’t think if such a technology was available then it would have been left so unknown that it would not be used in magic tools.

But then the dungeon core is so much more useful then. It can be made into a heck of a magic tool that does not ever run out of mana.

There may actually be some very high class products that use dungeon core. But I am sure they are very rare and expensive because you have to beat a dungeon to get a dungeon core.

This time I just luckily stumbled upon one that was being tempered with and easily defeated it. But in the end it exploded and I did not get it though.

But this too is a dungeon right so maybe I can get hands on one in here if I am lucky. Maybe that is exactly what lies behind the big door in the front of the big center hall.

But there is also a possibility that this is not a dungeon and those undead were summoned by necromancy, since there was a book lying there and it might be the case that to summon the undead you might need some magic stones and that is where the magic stones came from after I defeated them.

That is all speculations though.

So to find the answer I moved towards the only door that was left unopened. I have also scanned the other 4 rooms for hidden entrances and such for any secret rooms on the walls but I did not find anything.

So this is the only thing left. I scanned the door to see the opening mechanism. This time it was connected to two torch stands. Maybe I need to turn both of them. I hope I don’t need to do that simultaneously.

I turned both of them and thankfully, the door opened. As soon as I entered inside, it became very bright and what was inside was a master bedroom and there was also a single chest here too.

There were also men’s clothes in the cupboard that had degraded with time. None of these clothes are augmented.

I opened the chest and inside there was a single magic scroll and nothing else. I decided to scan it and was very delightful because I might have gotten hold on a really good trump card against vampires.

But it’s a single use though since it’s a scroll.

Why the hell is an A grade light magic ‘Solar Burst’ magic scroll being kept in a facility made by vampires?

Maybe the vampires’ greatest enemy were vampires themselves so this is where their trump card was kept.

There is an A rank magic stone of fire dragon embedded on the side that is at 80%. I think after the scroll is used, it might come off. Maybe the stone can be used even after that.

Now my only hope is that it works just by opening it and I don’t have to recite a spell to open it.

Otherwise all this would be waste. But I have no means to confirm that too, since once I open it, the spell might fire and it’s a single use product only. All I can do is to keep it as a last resort.

After storing that, I scanned the room for any hidden room or such. This time there was infact a small chamber hidden inside the wall.

I broke it open using the screw driver like tool I had. Inside were many gold coins and magic stones. The gold coins were of unknown denomination that I had never seen before.

There were also precious gems in there. I don’t know why the owner of this room kept his equipment in a chest in open and made a hidden safe for money.

Seems like he might be a money loving vampire who was more worried about his coins getting stolen rather than the scroll.

Anyways collecting everything I decided to leave this hideout. On the way back I avoided the traps with my scan and went out of the hideout using stairs.

Finally I came out and was about to take out the hatch to close the hideout when I felt something came up behind me.

I looked back and was immediately scared to death. I was sure that if I made one wrong step I would be dead.
