Chapter 16:

Part 16: Worlds Away

StarSpace: Tales Of The Time Keeper

“Anaevus, I hate to trod on this but you sound like you are not sure about what you just said. Care to clarify?”

The weapon was shuddering on the subject of what it exactly heard. Indeed, Chaosity is a name one wishes they knew well. Names don’t make this any easier. Our best description comes in the form of all pain and suffering, as well as health and prosperity. A dangerous entity no one has defeated nor destroyed. It is too invincible for the mind to understand. To even surpass its control seems to signify control over the essence of yourself. An established confidence that what you are is you. However, that is where the challenge lies.

“I mostly know only this about Chaosity. Its goal is to make itself as unknown as conceivably possible. Complexity is its ally. In my last encounter, it was the most intricate yet beautiful entity I’ve ever seen. As if it knows who you truly see yourself as and uses that to make you feel lost. Then in being lost, it begins to satisfy the innermost being into finding its way back there over and over again. Only to be found caught in a cycle.”

“Okay. Can we just skip ahead on this then? I get it.”

“Very well. I hope you were listening. Otherwise, whatever happens will come to your detriment if you fail.”

“Trust me, I will not fail.”

Omnikra began to hover flat on top of the grassy field as it calmed itself before me. In that moment, all I could do was wonder what exactly was going through its mind. No doubt, surviving Chaosity wasn’t going to be the main problem. It was stopping this amalgamation of a being that was.

“Gahhh!”

Unusually quick to temper. The blades must have fallen short of sensing the star.

“What happened?”

“I-I heard noises… A deep growling. Strange sounds of water droplets. Bubbling lava. Footsteps in a large dark room with ancient carvings. The few which I saw featured a symbol. A dodecahedral prism… Please do not tell me what I think that means.”

Omnikra was definitely in Prima. Specifically the Iternua Temple from the sound of it, but there was no mention of star-sensing to which that planet resided with.

“You were referring to The Carvings Of Creation. They exist where the birthplace of life is. In one of those—“

“I cannot do this anymore.”

My confusion for its impatience arose from this interruption.

“What exactly do you mean?”

Omnikra began to fly away unannounced as it seemed unhappy with the process that was happening. I was admittedly a little mad. It wanted to go back and venture off to find The New Guardian. Perhaps I was too hard on it. Trying to reform the weapon when I could have used a Time Portal or out of crazy delusion, give the Eternal Light Of Time. I doubt it would show any signs of being worthy considering what I just witnessed.

Still, I annoy myself when believing that true change is possible by just earning those accomplishments. It seems that the story validates it much more. Still, I have a feeling the weapon will find itself going to Prima eventually. If it becomes true, telling Emeraldion of everything that happened here will have to remain secret between us two.
