Chapter 21:

Doll House

The Marionettist

"That Infantile little son of a bitch!" Patricia slammed the diary when someone opened the door. Alexander! Her eyes widened in fear. "Ah, fuck! The rapist boy! The problems caught up with me!" Patricia was in a very precarious situation.

According to the diary, he is the rapist and killer of the girls. She couldn't believe it. The guy she was chasing couldn't be him or was he? There couldn't be two murderers, could there? Maybe someone else went after her neck and he's dead? She was completely confused, but for now, she only had to think about how to get out of this situation alive.

The boy entered the room, for one thing only. He wanted to rape her. She could already see it in his eyes. They were literally shouting it, and he was already undressing and measuring her with his eyes.

Alexander didn't even blink. He just walked right up to her and pushed her into the bed. Bad situation, very bad! If she started screaming, maybe the old lady would hear her and all hell would break loose. Alexander raised his hand into a fist. Ready to hit her as soon as she starts screaming.

Of course, she didn't dare to. He was happy with that. He threw himself on her. Alexander started kissing her neck groping her all over the body. Patricia wanted to throw up, but she couldn't do anything. She whispered softly and gently tried to push him away. She closed her eyes and thought about how to escape. She couldn't think of anything.

Suddenly, someone pulled him down from Patricia and threw him to the ground. Did the old lady catch them after all? Is this the end of Patricia? She kept her eyes closed and waited for the blow. Nothing was happening. Out of nowhere, she heard fingers snap.

She opened her eyes wide. A strange man was standing over Alexander. He knelt by Alexander and spread his palm over his face. Alexander seemed to lose consciousness. The stranger ran to Patricia with the key he took from Alexander's pocket. He unlocked the lock on the chain and removed it from her ankle.

She was shocked. She didn't know what to think. He grabbed her arm and handcuffed her to his arm. “Wait, what?” Now she was even more confused as to what was going on. Pulling her to him and to the wall, he opened a secret door. She followed him, after all, she had no other choice. She had no idea where he was leading her, but still better than staying with a family of murderers. At least for now.

They walked down the spiral stairs for a long time. He made sure, so that Patricia didn't trip. When he saw that she couldn't walk anymore, he stopped for a while and let her breathe. He couldn't take her into his arms on such a narrow staircase.

They were left standing in front of a massive gate. He used a very old key. The door was medieval, soundproof, nothing penetrated through it. It looked like an old bunker. The room directly outside the door was narrow, low, and full of candles. After a few meters, they found themselves in a huge cave, in which a life-size replica of a doll's house had been built. It even had two floors.

Each room had its own specific color. The living room and kitchen were downstairs and the library, bedroom, and bathroom were located upstairs. Almost the entire bottom was glazed, including the kitchen, the first floor was covered by brick and windows.

So the living room was matched into the dark brown color. Upon entering, one found himself facing the stairs going up to the left, and below them to the right was a showcase, and opposite it stood a chair attached to the floor. On the right from it, started the transition to the kitchen.

Directly next to the entrance door on the right side: a flower, a shoe rack, a mirror, and hangers. And on the opposite side left; part of which was also walled off because of the fireplace. A television hung above it. On both sides of the fireplace, were inbuilt bookcases and some furniture standing in front of it. Like a coffee table directly opposite and behind it a leather couch with a one-person sofa standing diagonally.

What was interesting was the "curtain" of flowers that strangely stretched from the ceiling on one side from the back of the couch to the end of the stairs, where the showcases and the door to the kitchen were.

Of course, wherever one walked, it hung only slightly below the ceiling. The kitchen deserved black furniture with green accessories or appliances. The kitchen line with cupboards formed the letter "L".

It started with the cooker and the oven, followed by the work surface, the sink, the corner where there were knives, a coffee maker, wooden spoons, and glasses hanging above them, then followed by the microwave oven, the refrigerator, and the last work surface.

In the center of the entire kitchen stood a solid wood table and chairs for eight family members. Parallel to the glass wall, there were shelves with herbs that were fed by special UV lamps on the ceiling directed towards them. Beneath them on the lower shelves were containers with various spices for cooking.

The first floor, on the other hand, had an interesting slanted railing that slightly opened up the view of the living room. The entire bookcase was made of oak wood; also beige fabrics, including a railing that held a bunch of hangers for pots of various creepers.

Under it was a couch with a palm tree on the right and a floor lamp on the left. Opposite an ottoman, whose rounded wooden corners also served as tables for tea or cakes. Depending on who brought what and what they wanted.

The wall separating the cave and the bedroom was occupied by shelves reaching up to the ceiling, which were cluttered with books. From the stairs, there was a passage with sliding doors and a view into the bedroom.

The furniture was also black like in the kitchen, but the accessories and linens were purple. When a person was standing under the door frame of the passage, he was also standing on the left side of the bed and one of the night tables, across the bed was the door to the bathroom.

On the next wall at an angle, there was a door to the wardrobe. Opposite the bed was a chest of drawers and above it stood a television mounted to the wall. A table with a computer and a chair stood in a small alcove next to the TV. A picture of a dense tropical forest and a river hung on an almost empty wall.

The bathroom was all dark blue. A corner sink, toilet, and shower in the opposite corner on the left, and a bathtub, washing machine built into the cupboard on the right. A towel rack opposite the door and a non-slip rectangular rug on the floor. This whole strange structure was carved into the interior of a limestone cave. It probably took several years to build.
