Beyond The Walls (Hiroshi)

Before my town was destroyed, my father always gave my brother and me different advice. None of them were ridiculous; they all came true as we lived. When we surrounded the castle, I remembered my father's famous saying once again.

You can never run away from trouble. It will always come after you and find you. That's why he always told me to run away from trouble. But when I had nowhere to run, he told me to be more trouble than trouble.

So today, I came to be more trouble than trouble with Ryuu and the warriors. We stood on our horses, ready to attack the castle walls. The King was in front of all of us, waiting for the other side to attack.

puffing the cigar in my mouth, I spoke to Ryuu, who was standing on his horse next to me.

"Kid, I want to say something before the gates open."

Ryuu turned his head to me.

"I'm listening to you, Hiroshi."

"Be careful though. I know you're strong, but Miron is a notorious enemy. I'm sure there are many reasons why he's calling you out one-on-one."

"I'll be careful, I promise. You be careful too."

"Don't worry about me. You know I run fast."

"Sure. See you on the other side, mate."

After Ryuu said those words, I had a bad feeling as if something bad was going to happen. But I answered him so as not to spoil it.

"See you, mate."

Raising his sword, the king turned his horse towards us - strong and powerful - and was about to make his last speech before the battle.

"Today we are here to fight for our kingdom. Whether we die or kill, this war and this land are ours. We will send them back to the holes they came from and show them who we are. So I will ask you only once: are you with me?"

All the soldiers were saying one thing:

"FOR THE THIRD KINGDOM"

Then the king shook his head at us, turned his horse towards the castle again, and did not wait any longer. He rode his horse forward and started the battle we were in.

Soon, the catapults and cannons we had set up began to fire at the castle walls. From the other side of the castle, archers were firing back at us with flame arrows and different weapons.

On one hand, we were in the continuous fire. On the other hand, they were too. In a short time, it was already turning into chaos.

Ryuu wanted to move more secretly to reach Miron. So after a certain period of time, he left us and continued in a different way. Wedan, Shou, and I had to stay together and bring the soldiers across the walls - that is, into the castle.

Turning my head to Shou on my left;

"Shou, can you reach the hill to open the castle gates?"

Wedan suddenly joined my conversation unannounced;

"Leave that to me, cowboy."

Shou, upon hearing Wedan's words, wanted to stay on the horse and see what he could do - just like me. When we approached the ramparts, Wedan jumped off his horse and used his ice power to take steps to reach the top. I was using my rifle to shoot back and shoot at the soldiers targeting Wedan.

Shou didn't want to be indifferent to these events. When we got close to the walls, he made a powerful leap and started running up the wall. Shou climbed the flat wall in almost seconds and started swinging his sword at everyone on the hill.

Wedan, on the other hand, when he reached the top, used his ice power powerfully. From above the clouds, he rained pointed ice into the castle.

Shou was constantly taking people down, and Wedan was neutralizing the people inside with his ice. After a short time, when they cleared the environment, they opened the gate of the walls for us. But there was a surprise waiting for us inside the castle - as if the whole army was waiting for the gate to open. Suddenly, with the opening of the walls, they started to charge toward us.

Many enemies with horses and running on their feet were coming towards us. Almost most of the enemies were here, including one elit soldier. But I had no time for that. The paladins who were with us could take care of the elite soldier, so I continued on my way, passing quickly through the enemies with my horse.

I was shooting on one hand and riding on the other. When I realized the barrier in front of me, I knew that I couldn't go on my horse anymore and that I had to jump. I jumped from my horse with all the strength in my legs and managed to pass through the walls into the castle.

At that moment, I thought I was diving into a huge army. But Shou and Wedan showed themselves at that very moment. Wedan was using his ice power to freeze and lubricate the ground under us - not only allowing us to move forward but also allowing us to fight back.

As Wedan continued to freeze the ground in front of us - clearing our way and attacking with his ice - Shou joined us, clearing our way with his sword.

Although we hardly knew each other, we were three against a huge army. Once we had passed through the interior of the castle, Wedan blocked the way behind us. A block of ice rose up from below us and allowed us to go up. The block of ice he wrapped around us prevented pieces of the wall from hitting us.

When we got to the top room of the castle, I recognized the room directly because I had been tortured here for a long time. In front of us was the stone throne of the third epic. The third epic was sitting on the throne in the shadows and looking at us. I could feel it.

Which was a good thing, because the reason we came here was to take him down.
