CHAPTER FIVE
Huff... Puff...
"How many laps has it been Diego!" I yelled out towards Diego who was infront of me
"It's been 1 lap, just 14 more to go. (but if you stopped complaining maybe this shit would go faster.)"
"Man..."
I managed to catch up to Diego but as soon as I did he ran faster
"Are you running away from me?"
"Life is like a competition Haruki! In this world! You have to do whatever it takes to get forward! Even if it means ruining your--" Interrupted by Diego tripping on the floor
I continued to run further while Diego had a bruise on his thigh
"FUCK!" He yelled out
"I'm going for the WIIIIN!!!" I yelled out
There's about 50 people in this classroom, I just need to get past... 30 of them. Oh man, I don't think I can do it. I ran to my fullest extent until I reached the 28th spot, Even using dirty tactics such has blocking people with my arm when our Teacher wasn't looking
"HEY!" The boy ahead of me yelled out
I looked back on him smiling until I was crossed by Diego
"You're in the way!" He whispered into my ear
"HEY YOUR KNEE IS BLEEDING!" I pointed out
"I DON'T CAREEE!!" He yelled back replying with a middle finger
"This guy.." I murmured
I caught up to Diego again and I ran even faster than him.
"Oh jeez, I cant take this anymore." I murmured
I tried to run even faster managing to catch up to the guy ahead of me and Diego, Diego tried to run forward but I used my hands to block both Diego and the guy infront of us, I bolted towards the 2nd lap
"I WANT! CONFIDENCE!" I screamed out
I looked at the guy ahead of us with glasses, I forgot his name but he turned around to look at me with a menacing face. I heard from my classmates he's a giant otaku whatever that means, I tried to run towards him but he yelled out;
"THE WORLD OF STOPPED TIME!"
"What?"
"STAR PLATINUM!" He said as he curled his fist trying to punch him
I managed make enough distance so that he couldn't punch me
"Whaa.....?" I murmured
"BAN-KAI!" He said pulling out a pen from his pocket
"HEY WAIT I THOUGHT MATERIALS WERENT ALLOWED" I screamed as I ran even faster
"I REFUSE! IN THIS WORLD THE THING I LIKE TO DO MOST IS TO TELL PEOPLE WHO THINK THEY'RE HOT SHIT NO!"
"WHAT??!!"
He raised the pen trying to stab my back with the pen, Diego soon caught up and pushed me ahead to stop the crazy otaku dude from stabbing me, I looked around to see everyone else already managing to catch up to the 2nd lap, Ahead was a football player in my class
"DOMAIN EXPANSION!"
"Dude, What? (how are you not out of breath?)" Diego said
"FORRR FRANCHEZZZ!" I yelled out
"HEY THATS MY GIRL--" Diego said interrupted by the otaku kneeing his face
"YOU'RE NOT GETTING AWAY FROM ME!" The otaku yelled out reaching his hand out for me
He revealed a watch he had on his left hand and tried to slap it screaming;
"ULTIMATE HUMANGASOUR!"
He then tried to again punch me but I ran faster than he could, Finally.. 2nd Lap! Just.. Like.. 27 more students to get past! Man, What the hell am I even doing here. 13 more laps and I already feel like dying
"Haruki! Why did you stop! Keep going! Keep going!" My teacher yelled out
"SORRY COACH, I'M GONNA NEED LIKE... FIVE MINUTES.." I said before falling to the ground
As my eyes closed I could hear the voice of Diego and the otaku boy from earlier
"Woah! He's getting isekai'd!"
"No stupid he isn't getting isekai'd, He just fainted. I should've known, Haruki isn't that athletic after all."
"So you're saying.. He got isekai'd?"
"Whatever.."

"Is.. He... Awakkeee......"
I woke up to Kashikoi poking my face, behind him was Franchez, Kenth, Diego And Albedo
"Woah... Where am I?" I asked
"You're at my house, Remember when I said we were gonna hang out? Why not after my almost deceased friend is knocked unconscious."
"Wow.. Just.. Wow."
"Yeah Haruki! What happened! You used to be more noble than this! I expected more from you! Hmph. (i dont actually care, It's just that my ex is here and I have to look high and superior so that she'll take me back)"
"Chill out Diego! It's not like Haruki is the athletic type!" Franchez interrupted
"sorry.." Diego murmured
"You alright little man? You looked half dead when I saw you." Kenth said grabbing my shoulder
"I'm alright.. It's just--"
"Ofcourse He's alrighhhtttt! He's Haruki! No need to set such low standards for him! (such filthy hands.)" Diego interrupted slapping Kenth's hand off my shoulder
"Thanks Diego.. But--"
"Haruki, We were going to fetch Ice cream, But now that you're awake let's head off to Mcdonalds or someplace nice." Albedo interrupted
"Okay.."
Heading towards Mcdonalds I kept looking at Franchez, When she looked back at me I would instantly look away blushing, Even though she had a boyfriend it was like she was teasing me. After she would look at me she would smirk and wave 'Hi'
"By the way Albedo.."
"Hm?"
"Who changed my clothes?"
"Uhh... Don't know."
"Also--"
"Haruki, When we went off to that park yesterday. Do you remember what happened there?"
"Uhm-- Uhh.. Well... You came up to me, Whilst I was reading a book and.. You slapped the book away from my hand and suddenly went kneeled to the ground with your eyes going blank.. And you came back? I think.."
"Slapped the book away from your hand? Interesting, What kind of trickery is this. Where my memory has been altered from the truth, I wonder." Albedo replied holding his mouth and looking down
"Uh.. Yeah.."
The sound of the automatic doors opening and a breeze of cold air instantly chilled my spine, We went to sit down on our seats and I sat infront of Franchez, Beside me were Diego and Albedo. Beside Franchez was Kenth on her left, and Kashikoi on her right. Kashikoi went off to order while we waited
"Oh man.. This is uncomfortable." I murmured looking down
Looking into Franchez's eyes I could remember all those times when I had nothing to do and sat within the park next to her, We used to read all the time. And I would sway my feet back and forth blushing when I was next to her.
You always used to bring a black cat around, I didn't know if it was your cat or just a stray cat you found on the school grounds we used to always play in
"Well Y'know? I kinda hate the summer glow." You said as you caressed the cat
Too embarrassed to say anything I decided I wouldn't, Instead just look at you further embarrassing myself, When you looked back you would always smirk at me. Further showing my embarrassment as I looked to the ground swaying my feet further
Even now you kept that habit of smiling when I looked at you, I guess you never changed.. Huh? Well, I don't think I changed either. So I don't really know if you would like the same old' Me. If you know what I am saying.
"Orderss Here!" Kashikoi yelled coming back with our food with Kenth behind him
I only ordered fries and a coke float, Ahead of me I tried not to look but I could see a Burger with a Sprite, I just looked down on my food and ate it uncomfortably
"Can I have some of that?" Franchez said reaching out for my food
"Uh--" Before I could say anything she already took a bite of a fry, I looked at her and she was grinning and I tried not to smile But I let it out
"Cool..." I murmured
I really thought I was getting better, I finally felt distant from that past. Now what if I can't do anything?
"Child."
I looked around in search of the noise but it was in the reflection of Franchez's eyes
"Whaa...?" I mouthed
"You're just a huge baby aren't you?"
"..."
"Those tears are about to flow from your eyes Haruki, Just let me work my magic Haruki! Trust me It'll be all beneficial."
"What...?" Albedo murmured
"Albedo?"
Albedo looked back towards me with that same face of confusion
"Can you.. See it too?" I thought
I wonder, What happened to him.. What happened to me? Does this change in his personality reflect mine? No.. No way! Because.. If it did.. Then, I would've been a bad guy just like him! So why did he drastically change while I didn't! It doesn't make sense
"Can you.. see it?" I whispered
"Yeah.. I can see it. What is this Haruki. Some kind of pent up aggression? It doesn't even feel real. There's no way something like this can exist on earth! I've heard of people talking to themselves but not to this extent. Not to the extent of it actually spreading to other people.
"Its..."
"I thought I knew you Haruki, I thought I'd be able to see you for who you really were, But.. Hiding this is.. Wow."
"Are you bullying Haruki again Albedo?" The reflection from her eyes yelled out
Somehow, Noone could hear it except us.
"Haruki you can speak to yourself through reflections.. Are you some kind of deity?"
"Whaa...?"
"And what of it Albedo?" He Interrupted
"All I wanted was to make this boy happy and normal, It's not easy y'know? The reason he doesn't go outside as much.. The reason, He has little to no friends. It's not cause of his lack of talent.. Nonono, It's cause of people like you. Always intruding in other peoples lives like its a game."
"Don't take it to heart man! Me and Haruki are friends arent--"
"And if you guys were friends, I cant recall one time.. Not once where you've been helpful to him. Now that he's face to face with his long time crush you still haven't helped him in that way."
"I'm not his baby sitter! Don't expect me to babysit him all the way through until he's married!"
"Your brother was right about you, You think Haruki's some quiet kid who you can play as the side character while you run around, You think he's some game don't you? You think he's someone you can toss around? I only wanted the best for my counterpart."
"Dude.. You're getting it all wrong! I was there for Haruki! I was there when he was being rejected, You can't call that fake friendship when I was there for him!"
"Now that you seen this side of him, Now that you've seen me. You're already judging him, seeing him differently. You haven't changed, You can't changed cause you refused to change."
"Woah.. I'll still see him the same way he's my best friend!--"

"Albedo.. Are you okay?" Franchez interrupted
"Wh-- Huh? I'm.. Just.. Talking to myself arent I?"
"Yeah.. You don't seem normal.. Are you okay?" Kenth asked
Albedo leaned over to me
"That guy.. He's stupid to be honest with ya. I feel bad that you kept that guy around with you, I thought he was pretty smart at first when he did that whole schtick of making me fall to my knees at the forest--"
"Wait what?"
"You hiding this.. Thing from you Haruki, It's not normal."
"O.. Kay...?"
"Haruki, Your food is going cold." Franchez pointed out
"Oh hehe.. Thanks!" I replied
"Bro.." Albedo whispered
"Bro I..."
"I..."
"Haruki?"
"Yeahhhhh?"
"Promise me.. Everything's gonna be okay."
"Uh.. Sure.. I guess."
As we continued to eat our food Albedo seemed stoked, Maybe it was the fact that he saw this guy.. No, My reflection.. I've never really explained it haven't I?
This reflection guy is like my friend-- or was my friend until a few days ago, He gives me helpful advice and is an all around great guy, Or atleast I thought he was, I honestly don't know what happened to him and me for him to become like this. All I know is he's already being somewhat.. Malicious.
"Right.." Albedo said
What? What did he say? Can he.. Hear my thoughts? What kind of.. Freaky friday is this! Now my personal thoughts aren't safe! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
"Ow my.. Ears.." Albedo said covering his ears
"You good?"
"Some kind of.. Voice in my head I can't control. Talking about, Some stuff.. I don't know what."

I CAN'T LET IT END THIS WAY, THE FOOD JUST STARTED AND ALREADY THE DAY IS RUINED, HOW COULD THINGS GET ANY WORSE!
It's the same day...
