Issue #7

    Usagi woke up the next morning feeling excited because it was the weekend meaning no school and he was free to do whatever he wanted since he finished the weekend's homework the same day he got it. Usagi headed downstairs to where his sister Sabrina and her husband Micheal were doing the podcast about Bio-Stream warrior Usagi stayed on the steps listening to them speak about Bio-Stream like how much of an impact he’s making and how the crime rate is starting to ease up and the fact he needs support from the community. Usagi smiled a bit as he went back upstairs and grabbed his hat but he couldn’t find his blue hoodie. Usagi started looking through his closet of clothes and coats and pants but the blue hoodie didn’t make an appearance. Usagi started scratching his head trying to figure out where his blue hoodie could be. He ran downstairs to find Sabrina in the kitchen while Micheal was heading to the store.

“Sabrina, I can’t find my blue hoodie. Do you know where it is?” he asked as Sabrina took a sip of coffee. Sabrina looked at him making it obvious that she knew where his hoodie was. “Usagi, I took that hoodie and put it in the dirty clothes that thing was filthy and started to stink up the place,” she said as Usagi’s eye twitched in annoyance because that was the hoodie he did most of his vigilante work in so now he needed a backup plan. “What am I supposed to wear to the comic book store?” he asked using that as an alibi. Sabrina sighed because he was starting to get on her nerves because she was trying to wait around for Bio-Stream to make another appearance and she knew she had to be ready but she decided to help her brother. “Just wear the yellow or red hoodie you barely wear those two now get away from me I’m trying to work,” she said as Usagi ran upstairs into his room and opened his closet door, and looked at the two hoodies. Usagi tried to figure out which one he was gonna wear out while patrolling because he knew needed to wear one that screamed Bio-Stream.

Martin woke up beside Stacy in his bed. He turned to look at her and decided not to wake up her as he got up and headed into the kitchen of his condo and took out his phone. He sent a message for someone to make a delivery for him. Martin sat his phone down and started cooking breakfast for himself and Stacy. Martin started thinking about the vigilante and the two crimes he’s stopped this week and a smile appeared across his face. Usagi was running through the city with his hat and red hoodie on patrolling the city. Usagi was feeling kinda odd because he’s always worn the blue hoodie out as Bio-Stream so it’s weird seeing himself wear a different color for a change. He continued running as the news started praising him as a hero who’s been stopping crime this past month. Usagi smiled under his hat as he kept going. Usagi soon made it to the town square area looking around thinking it was quiet too quiet usually there would be a crime in progress on the weekends because so he stayed on his toes for any suspicious activity. Two guys name Bruno and Gen were spotted going into the alleyway behind someone Usagi ran over to check it out to see what was going on because to his eyes it looked kinda shady. Usagi made it but the gang of men turned around smiling their yellow teeth looking like they had seen better days.

“Mate you’re about to die,” Bruno said in a strong accent as the gang drew guns. Usagi looked very uninterested. “Really? You lure me into an alleyway to kill me knowing what I can physically do to you?” Usagi asked as he scratched his head. The man started shooting as Usagi created a blood shield shaking his head thinking about how disappointed he was in these knuckleheads as he calls them. The gang soon ran out of bullets as Usagi’s blood shield disappeared they all looked dumbfounded by the fact he was still standing. They took steps back as Usagi’s eyes glowed red and bloody arrows attacked each of the gang members. Usagi tied them all up with a blood rope and disappeared from the area. Bruno glared at Gen. “The boss is gonna be pissed at you for this,” he said. Usagi thought about how strange that was those gang members didn’t commit a crime but they tried to lure him into a trap meaning the criminals are looking to get rid of him so he’s gonna have to watch his back. Usagi turned back to normal and unzipped his hoodie taking his hat off and revealing his red dreads that went down his back and face.

Usagi walked around the corner but stopped in his tracks when he was Anna the girl of his dreams.
