Chapter 13:

Issue #13

Bio-Stream Volume 1

Mayor Sudachi was sitting in the backseat of his car as his driver was taking him to his meeting. “Ugh, Sato these press hounds are getting restless about a man with powers similar to that no good vigilante Bio-Stream. It’s stressful,” he said as he started scrolling through his phone to see if anyone he cared about messaged him only to find a bunch of messages from Martin Parker over the last 24 hours when he saw the message about Martin’s father his whole mood changed. “Sato, take me to the hospital now and step on it!” he shouted as his driver Sato made a detour and headed to the hospital.

Stacy woke up wrapped in Martin’s suit coat looking around for him feeling a bit out of order because of the fact she woke up. “Martin? Martin, where are you?” she called ot looking around as one of the nurses that walked through turned and looked at her. “Oh, that Martin fellow said something about heading back to the office to catch up on paperwork he said he would be back so don’t worry,” the nurse with long blonde hair and brown eyes, and pale skin dressed in a nurse outfit said walking off into the hallway.

Stacy started feeling cold inside the doctor’s office so she decided to put on Martin’s suit coat. Sudachi’s car pulled up. His driver Sato a man with a short buzz cut type of hair that was jet black and he dressed in a business suit similar to Sudachi he got out and opened the door for Sudachi. “I’ll head in by myself Sato you just wait out here,” Sudachi said as he entered the hospital. Sato nodded in obedience. He looked around to see if Martin or Stacy were in the lobby Stacy was standing by the vending machine because she felt like she needed a drink after being there overnight.

Sudachi came around the corner to see her. “Stacy, I’m sorry I’m late to see Martin’s messages I couldn’t get away because of the press being crazy for the last 24 hours,” he explained Stacy didn’t care she just hugged him and got all emotional because it was horrible. She remembered seeing Mister Parker collapse back in the office and she remembered how Martin was affected by all the news. Sudachi rubbed her back trying to calm her down. “Martin’s father is tough trust me he’s been through much worse than this. Where is Martin anyway? I thought I’d see him here,” he asked as Stacy pulled back and wiped her tears. “He’s at the office doing paperwork he’s supposed to be back here soon but aren’t you supposed to be at a meeting today?” she asked a bit curious about his meeting over the safety of the city.

Sudachi covers his face with his hands because the whole safety of the city was starting to get him. The press started to hound him more and more it was becoming beyond stressful for him. “Yeah, but it’s not like my word is law I gotta run things by my team and look at possible outcomes to see if anything I say will help because this city wasn’t exactly safe before especially with crime being at an all-time high until this do-gooder name Bio-Stream came I mean sh*t I should let him handle this Bloodmaker joker because what am I gonna do have him arrested he just got through committing murder in the dock area,” Sudachi explained making him inside coffee at the machine as Stacy nodded. “You know how people want impossible things but in this case whoever that is they can’t be allowed to run rampant in the streets you know,” Stacy looked at him as Sudachi sighed. “Yeah,” he responded.

Usagi was running through the city and a news report came on the tv in the store near the congress building. Usagi stopped and looked to see what was gonna be discussed. The newswoman started talking about Bloodmaker and his location to be out on the outskirts of the city where the old Parker Center used to be. Usagi raised an eyebrow thinking to himself that the Parker Center was opened by the man in tha picture from that underground town so something was up in his mind. Usagi gritted his teeth and started running to get to the outskirts of town to confront Bloodmaker while running he was adjusting his hat and put his hood back on and zipped up his coat with the sole purpose of unmasking Bloodmaker and defeating him.

Usagi pulled out his phone to see the picture and the blue marks that were on his picture. He was still puzzled by the fact they had similar powers so he was trying to figure out how he was gonna fight against his own ability because he barely knows how to use the powers. Usagi puts his phone away with the hope of coming up with a way to putting the fight to his advantage.

Sabrina and Micheal arrived at the docks hopping out of the car and looking around. “This place looks terrible,” Sabrina said as Micheal nodded. “Yeah but over here is where the evidence is supposed to be but they went missing I’m no detective but it’s as I said earlier someone is helping Bloodmaker it’s just I don’t know who yet because if Bloodmaker removed the evidence then we would see blue blood everywhere because a majority of the evidence disappeared,” Micheal explained. Sabrina went over to the warehouse looking at the destroyed area where the entryway used to be will blue blood all over it. “This is peculiar,” she said as she pulled a tissue paper and took a dab of the blue blood off the wall of the warehouse as Micheal came over to her. “You know what still doesn’t make sense?” he asked Sabrina as she turned to look at him. “What?”

“Why would Bloodmaker appear here and kill a bunch of dock workers and have someone else make the evidence of him being here disappear and leaves the fake evidence to the police only for something at the docks but there’s nothing inside that warehouse because I checked,” Micheal explained trying to wrap his brain around this whole ordeal. Sabrina went back over to the car to turn it on to see if any more news reports of Bloodmaker. The same report played making Sabrina’s eyes get big. “Micheal, come on we're going to the old Parker Center HE’S there!” she shouted as Micheal ran over to the car and the two drove off to finally get a closer glimpse of The Bloodmaker.
