The unfulfilled love: A new journey

"This is my house.", she said, upon reaching close to to her living place, in a soft tone,"I can handle the rest. Thank you for coming all the way."

"Its my duty to protect you whom I have saved."

There was a sudden change in his expression. He was serious this time. Surprisingly, he was not only positive, but also responsible. A carefree, yet a careful person.

After having their goodbyes to each other, Ayane sneakily climbed up the wall and to her room on the second floor. The windows were open, and was moving slightly because of the gentle wind. Not to her surprise, her parents didn't notice her not being inside the house. Entering the room, she acted as if nothing had ever happened and she was just living her life just like any other day.

It was 11.30 pm.

Exhausted of all the things that had happened today, she lied on the bed, putting one of her arms over her eyes, contemplating of the things that happened. As she extended her other hand, it touched something.

It was her journal. It had quite some pages left, but the last page that was written only had one word,

"Goodbye."

But that goodbye never happened. Instead of it, she got something better. She got hope, the fuel she needed to pass through the harsh times. As it was a journal, she had to write down what had just happened today. She got up and started writing again, with new hope,

"Today, something wild happened. Although I am writing this journal mostly to vent out my anger, but I think from now on, I will write memories of the things that happens in my life. I don't think I will read this journal ever in my life, but if theres still a chance that I will read it for some reason, like revisiting past memories, or when I am depressed. Let's see in the future. If my future self is actually reading this, I want to ask you one thing, how is life going? Are you depressed? Or did he come again to save you? I know that you know that who I am talking about. But I guess he is not close to you now, maybe in another country, I don't know, thats why you want to revisit your past memories, and this was the first memory, right? Well, this memory is irreplaceable, because this was also the time your life was saved by someone. Am I right? So, I am just gonna write down everything that happened today. I am not missing a single detail. I myself am shocked. I was determined that I would end myself today, but here I am, alive. He pulled me out of that deep hole and showed me light, and you need that light now, don't you? Well, heres what happened if you happen to forget it..."
