"So are you gonna hand out candy?" Nina asked.

"I don't know. I don't like being around lots of people. Heck, I didn't even put any lights up," I replied.

"So?"

"Well, I mean, it just doesn't feel as festive to just hand out candy when the house isn't decorated. I also kind of wanted to spend the night with you."

"I kinda wanna hand out candy though."

"I wonder. Can you do it? I mean, I'm not sure if everyone can see you yet."

Let's try it," she pouted.

Nina suddenly changed into a sexy succubus costume.

"Well, how do you like it?" she blushed.

"I think I just got the greatest treat," I said as I wiped the blood spewing out of my nostrils.

"If they can't see it, nothing wrong with wearing something so revealing."

"Alright, let's hand out candy. I'll go grab a pumpkin mask.

"Trick or Treat."

I began handing out candy to the kids. Nina also helped hand out some candy.

"Whoa, why's the candy floating!?" one kid asked.

"Oh, that's just my wife's trick," I chuckled.

"She sounds like a very innovative woman. If I didn't know better, I'd assume a real ghost was handing out candy," the parent accompanying the children smiled.

"Guess I'm becoming more real," Nina smiled as the trick or treaters left.

"I can't wait for the day when everyone can see you," I smiled.

Nina immediately blushed and began shuffling.

"But then. Mmm," she groaned.

I then realized, she probably wouldn't wear that erotic costume if everyone could see it.

"Don't worry, I won't mind if you wear a different costume."

"But I wanna wear this one. It got such a good reaction out of you," Nina pouted.

"Then just wear it after the trick or treaters are done. They usually stop around 9 or 9:30."

"Wait, they don't go till midnight!?"

"No. Especially if Halloween falls anywhere between Sunday and Thursday. Even on Fridays and Saturdays, I can't remember a bunch of trick or treaters appearing past 9, at least not in my neighborhood."

"Halloween should be celebrated till night! We better party!"

"Well you're full of energy. Good thing we're not one of the popular trick or treating destinations. Otherwise, we might not finish till 10, even on a school night."

"Wanna go trick or treating?"

"At my age, people might think I'm weird or worse."

"Oh right, you're like 30. "

"Yeah, 10 or 15 years younger, sure. But 30? I'd have to wait until late when the older teenagers go out. And by then, most places are either out of candy, or don't want to give out anymore candy."

"Wow, I didn't know. Then again, I grew up in a place where we partied till sunrise. We'd do fun things like mazes and other spooky things."

"I'm sure people do things like that here too. Heck, there's a farm with a corn maze just down the block."

"We're doing it!" Nina bounced up and down.

"Alright. if I'm with you, I'll brave the wild and take the test of courage," I smiled.
