White day and Pi day

March 14th quickly arrived, meaning Masaru went to work making white chocolate for White day.

"We sure got a lot of chocolate a month ago," Rika mused as she cooked a butter chicken pot pie with naan crust.

"Why are you making that?" Masaru asked.

"Cause it's Pi day. Didn't I tell you before. Well anyway, I'm gonna have this sent to your sister."

"I still think she's a disgrace."

"Why do you think I'm still sending these to her."

"Take this," Eluf smirked as he tossed a box of complimentary chocolates to Mimi.

"Oh, wait I get chocolates a month after Valentines too!?" Mimi asked.

"Just from the guys. Though don't go giving out chocolates to a bunch of guys next year. Helga would get mad," Eluf said as he tipped his hat and left.

                                                                         ...

"Just a few more days," Mutsumi groaned as she spun around in her chair.

She then perked up as she noticed Matcha entering the station with a food box.

"Must be for the Commissioner. She's not stationed here anymore though. *Sigh*"

Mutsumi rose and collected the box from Matcha.

"Thanks for the delivery, I'll make sure she gets it," Mutsumi smiled as Matcha left.

"Whacha holdin Mu-Mu?" Inoka asked.

"Delivery for Commissioner Rikuma," Mutsumi replied.

"Another lie cake? Hmm, nope just flat out chicken pie. Say Mu-Mu, can we girl chat incognito?" Inoka asked as she led Mutsumi somewhere private.

"Are you sure about that!?" Mutsumi glared.

"It's deep in da puddin," Inoka grinned as she showed Mutsumi her phone.

"I have no idea what you just said, but I'll go for it. It would be a nice homecoming gift for Reika," Mutsumi stated as she walked away.

                                                                             ...

"Why are you glaring at me, Nakajima?" Yoriko glared.

"Yoriko Sakaguro, you're under arrest for corruption and drug smuggling," Mutsumi glared.

Yoriko's eyes suddenly went wide with fear.

"HUH!?" What are you-"

Mutsumi immediately went for the arrest, however, Yoriko began to flee.

"ARREST THE CHIEF! SHE'S GUILTY OF CORRUPTION!" Mutsumi shouted.

Everyone stared in confusion, but decided to block the chief.

"Move! I gotta escape!" Yoriko pleaded.

Mutsumi immediately caught her and cuffed her.

"And do you have justification for your actions, Nakajima?" Makoto glared as she walked in.

Mutsumi displayed the images Inoka had sent her to everyone. In each one, Yoriko could be seen clearly engaging in corruption or handling drugs.

"Arrest her immediately. As for her replacement-"

"Mu-Mu got the kill, so Mu-Mu gets the prize," Inoka cheered.

Makoto sighed and promoted Mutsumi to chief on the spot.

"Happy day of pies," Inoka grinned as she brought the chicken pot pie to Himawari.

"Are you trying to anger me, Inohara?" Himawari glared.

"Nope, just bringin da pie."

"You're clearly taunting her," Purin glared as she opened the box.

"Nah, why would I? I respect Supe- er Comish just as much as you Pu-Pu."

"Mako-chan just called and told me Nakajima arrested Yoriko and was promoted to chief," Yumeko stated.

"And why would she do that?" Himawari glared.

"Cuz I Hooray hoorayed for her," Inoka grinned.

Himawari stared at Inoka for a moment before smiling.

"Eat the whole pie. That's an order," Himawari smirked.

Reika stormed into the police station in a business suit and dress shoes. Her hair had now grown back to its original length. The station all gasped when they saw her.

"Reika!? You're back? YOU'RE BACK!" Mutsumi cheered as the station erupted in cheers.

"Mutsumi, status report," Reika glared as she made her way through the crowd.

"Ah, um I actually just got promoted," Mutsumi sheepishly smiled as she headed for her new office.

"I saw it on the news as I was coming over here. Where's Sakaguro!?"

"Uh, Maximum holding."

"*Tch* Plan B. Call HQ and have them transfer her there."

"Reika? Why are you so flustered?"

"Because I was too late. Now the evidence may all go down the drain."

"But I got the evidence!" Mutsumi protested as she showed Reika her phone.

"Who gave this to you?"

"Inoka."

"Inoka? Hmm. Call her in."

"She went to HQ to deliver some food from Ryokoma to Commissioner Rikuma."

"Then have her come back with a prison transport."

Yoriko moaned and struggled as she was marched out.

"Before we cart her off, why not ask her some questions on the fly?" Reika suggested.

"Yuzume, we're carting her off to HQ," Makoto glared.

"Makoto Inohara, answer me here and now, are you using drugs?"

Makoto raised a browless eyebrow as the press began to murmur.

"You even brought press with you too. Damn you Reika Yuzume," Makoto thought.

"Yes, I smoke. But that's it. Test me all you want," Makoto glared as she held up her pack of cigarettes.

"Then while you do that, allow the city's greatest detective to have a chat with Sakaguro," Reika stated.

Makoto clicked her tongue and motioned for the officer to remove the gagging device in Yoriko's mouth.

"It waz ME! I did it you shits! None of you would promote me, an all ya did was laugh at what a fatty I am!" Yoriko cried.

"Sakaguro, were you the one that bought drugs from the demon queen cult?" Reika asked.

"YES! I tried ta slip em to everyone, but Makoto drank all that coffee, but it didn't work! I got duped!"

"What would Fumiyo say if she saw this?"

"Fumi yo Fumiyo IYOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Yoriko screamed before going limp.

Blood suddenly began dripping from her mouth as her eyes rolled back. People began to scream as Makoto ordered the troops to bring Yoriko to the transfer van.

"Ah-ah, looks like Riko kicked the bucket," Inoka shrugged as she glanced at Yoriko.

"Inoka, where did you get those pictures from!?" Reika glared.

"Pu-Pu. She gave em to me to make me stop massagin the chipmunks."

Reika rolled her eyes and stormed off to her desk.

"Damn it, so Inoka duped Mutsumi. Makoto now has cover should she test positive for the drugs thanks to Yoriko. Damn it!" Reika fumed in her mind.
