"Let's get out of here “He put out his hand offering it to me

“Uhhhh..."I looked away in panicked

 "It's slippery be carefully you might fall" I hesitantly took his hand and followed his lead to the shores

"Here you go" He pulled me up with a tug bring the both of us back to the land

"Thanks “I timidly responded I wrapped my hands around my skirt and twisted it water plunged out splashing on the ground "I'm sorry for misunderstanding that back- "

"It will be fine once I dry off it'll be like nothing ever happened "he cut me off in a calm voice

“But that's my fault I put you through all of that I'm sorry"

“I’m fine. But I can't believe you helped me out after I pushed you in"

Does he hate me after pushing him to the lake? He was completely soaking wet...what's with this awkward silence how to make this conversation a little longer.... "

I just got here today. 

"Is that so?"he asked as he stared at me quietly listening waiting for me to respond 

I nooded “I was scolded by the vice president for going to the boys dormitory and lost my way here"

“Reiji?” he whispered as his eyes went as cold as ice-fear took shape inside me Without saying a word he turn around and started walking off the other way

Did I say something wrong? “I asked confusedly not knowing what's going on"hey um...wait!!" He marched forward ignoring my shouting entirely

I blankly stared at my reflection in the water trying to process what had just happened

"an emblem? “I thought to myself and went on the water trying to retrieve the object. It was a gold plated school emblem which I believe comes from the music department. But isn't the school emblem for the music department supposed to be silver?

I wipe it out using the hem of my skirt and held up the emblem and lifting it high in the air then iridescent light starting to glow brighter

"Is so pretty. “You drop something “I turned to his direction but It was too late. He was completely gone

Anyways... I better get going

There's no other students to ask around so I have to deal with this myself ...

As the sun was already setting down, I realized that I should probably head back to the dormitory. Feeling tired and a bit wet,

I had been walking for a while, and my exhaustion were starting to get the best of me. My legs were growing tired, and the the air is getting colder. But all of a sudden, I saw a building in the distance, and my energy levels immediately picked up

 I reached the building and found myself facing an older lady who was waiting for me there. She seemed to be a caretaker or cleaning lady of sorts, and she looked quite concerned.

"Oh, dear," she said, in a soothing voice. "You're soaking wet, and it's nearly dusk. I hope you didn't roam around out there too much. Come with me, let me help you dry off and then I can take you to your dormitory."

 As a wave of relief flooded over me, I thought, "this must be the dormitory... room 504, here I come!"

I knocked as I opened open the doorto see a girl with short blonde hair sitting near the window and reading a book. She glanced up at me a "you must be Layla, right?"she asked

"Y-yes, good evening," I replied hesitantly, surprised that she had already known who I was.

"your roommate,clyde "she said with a smile 

"oh yeah you're late yesterday Layla what happened?"she added as she stood up and walked close towards me hug me" I finally able to meet you" she said as she gently pulled me inside

Once inside our dormitory room, I sat down on my bed and glanced around the space. The room was large enough for the both of us and my favorite thing was that my bed was near the balcony facing the garden with a glass sliding door covered with blue curtains. "What took you so long?" Clyde asked. 

I didn't know what to say, so I just sighed and Said "I—i was lost "

"That's understandable the school was huge after all "

"Wait?... She didn't brought my lies? i thought 

"but something interesting happened on the way.."I added 

"Something interesting?""

"Yeah I met a boy earlier "

"Oh what was he like?""

"He had a straight brown hair"I Paused for a moment trying to remember something

"....And his name was um...Azazel"

"Azazel?um"Claide put her hand on her chin and cocked her neck"I've never heard that name...""

"Oh really?but he was wearing this academy's uniform the same as the supreme vice president "

"The student council uniform?you met the vice president?"

I nodded as a response

"I think I knew all the SSG officers, Then maybe I just never met him"she said "I thought I knew most of the people here but there are so many students here so"

"Was he handsome"

"He was cute?"I responded

"Cute like kitten?""

"Well,kinda Iike that"

"That's awesome I didn't know there was someone like that here"Claide said with her eyes full of interest "I love boys that are like kittens! "

"He was also kinda weird tho..."I suddenly remembered what had just happened near the lake and I don't think the description of a cute kitten suit to him .

"And Oh yeah and he also does have this silver emblem... Pretty similar to ours but silver" I said as I tried to reach out my pocket" oh it's not here... "I whispered realizing the emblem was not in my pocket "

Claide turns to me, a confused and slightly skeptical look on her face. 

"That's impossible," she whispers. "The silver plated emblem has been forgotten and hidden for a half decade and it's unthinkable that someone else own one.

"What do you mean ?" I tilted my head I'm confusion 

"A saint palantine academy school silver emblem doesn't exist for the past 5 years...our emblem was improvised into gold plate Even tho it had the same crest" Claide repeats

"Emblems are pride of our school and it would be a disgrace for someone having an emblem that's been banned long time ago so It's not possible for someone to have it...but it could be".

A chill runs down my spine and I looks at Claide with a new sense of terror

Clyde whispered, "I'm glad you're my roommate, Layla". Then, he turned off his lamp and said "goodnight". I lie down in my bed, feeling safe and comfortable with Clyde around. Clyde is a good friend, and I'm glad we're sharing the room together..

"Goodnight, Clyde." I whispered back, 

Emblems are pride of our school and it would be a disgrace for someone having an emblem that's been banned long time ago so It's not possible for someone to have it...but it could be".....
