#03: Speed

"Now.." I look at him, with my eyes glowing again. "What is this about someone strong to fight?" 

"Hah! I knew you'd be excited." Leonardo shouted, smiling a bit. "Come with me, then!" He said, walking away. "H-hey! Wait!" I run after him, catching up and walking next to him. "How do you even know who I am?" I ask, turning towards him. "I don't. But that fight was awesome. You had the other guy in the chokehold the entire fight!" He shouted, smiling and motioning the fight, like a kid. "Thank you. It was actually..my first time fighting." I say, looking at Leonardo awkwardly, as his eyes widen. "Nope. Nope. You're joking. Absolutely no way that was your first time fighting." He yelled, looking away in disbelief. "It was. I'm just kinda..good at everything-.." I look away, in embarrassment. "No shit, huh." He chuckled a bit, punching me in the stomach jokingly. I flinch slightly, "Well except for talking to people. I don't have friends-.." I say, still looking away. "What are you talking about? You're talking to one right now." Leonardo smiled smugly. I looked back in shock. "You-". "We're here!" He shouts, as we reach the entrance to a warehouse. "This..is it?" I say, looking at Leonardo awkwardly. "Mhm!" He nods aggressively, smiling. "Okay-" I walk in, with Leonardo, not knowing what was waiting for me being the doors.

"Welcome to Thunder Fang!" Leonardo yells, as he spreads his arms out, revealing the huge warehouse, filled with people. "What spear-?" I say, completely confused. "It's my gang. Full of incredible people." He says, smiling. "Come on, let me give you a tour!" He shouts, running through the place. "W-wait up-!" I chase after him, bumping into this huge guy, "Oi. My bad." Huh? Did that guy just apologise to me? With his build, he would be able to kill me, but he..apologised?? What is this place?

I catch up to Leonardo, as he smiles and walks to another big guy, with a blonde fade, he looked to be in his 30s. "This guy is Miko Akihara! Toughest guy in town." Leonardo exclaimed. The big guy walked to me, as he towered over me, he glared, before.. "Nice to meet you, I'm Akihara, but you know that already. What's your name?" He says, smiling. I stand, confused. He's so polite. "I-It's Rin." I say, snapping out of my confusion. "I like that name. It was my father's. What say me and you train for a bit?" He said, smiling excited. "No fair. I found him. I'm training with him first!" Leonardo popped out of nowhere, smiling. "Right, buddy?" He asked. Two strong guys standing in front of me. Both want to fight me. What the hell is going on? "Y-yeah. I'll fight you first." I say, still dumbfounded by what's going on. Leonardo cheered, as he took my hand and dragged me to the fighting mat.

"Let's go, Rin-chan! I'll take anything you throw at me..and then some!" Leonardo stood, stretching out his arms and then his legs. "Likewise." I say, standing ready, as a group of people came to watch. "Alright. Go!" He shouts, sprinting right at me. He's right handed. So he'll go with a right hook. "Try this!" I watch as he throws his right fist at me and I swerve right, before he pulls it back. 'A feint again?!'. Then he swings his left fist forward. 'Then I'll put my right arm there, and suck up the impact.' But as he goes in for the punch, I put my right arm in front of my face, but..he pulls it back again. 'Double feint?!'. He lands a punch against my stomach, sending me back a bit. "Bit slow there, huh?" Leonardo teased me. "Don't get cocky, Leo." I smile, wiping the blood from my nose. "I'm just getting started." 

Leonardo smiles right across his face, chuckling. "Now I can go all out! Get ready for this, Rin-chan!" He goes in for another straight forward punch. 'He'll go in for the feint again. I'll dodge the first one and counter the second.'. I swerve left, he's really fast, there's no doubt about that..however-.. Wait? Where'd he go? He just vanished. "Behind you!" He shouted, punching me from behind. 'How'd he get behind me so fast?!'. I manage to keep my balance, before getting shot backwards again. 

"He's doing it!" I hear someone in the crowd shout.

"His strongest technique!"

"There's a reason he's known as the fastest."

"His best technique named.."

"Endless blitz!"

So he's the fastest?! I should've guessed by how he moved around. Whatever. 'I'll cut him off..now!'. I put all of my strength down on my feet and I catch him mid air, throwing him against the ground. "You're smart, Leo. Traveling around the person with your speed. Then using there weight and momentum to keep them in the endless cycle. A power technique, but with a lot of flaws." I say, my eyes glowing again. "Tch. You really are smart, huh?" Leonardo says, jokingly, chuckling a bit. "Get ready, Leo. It's my turn to show off now."
