Date!?

It was finally the end of the day and Kanato was exited. Ealier Naruto had asked him to come to the roof when all of his classes were over. Kanato kept trying to get Naruto to tell him why but he had no luck.

When Kanato reached the roof he instantly saw Naruto standing against the railing. "Naruto!" Kanato shouted as he made his way over to him. "You finally made it." Naruto said while ruffling Kanato's hair, that seemed to be a habit of his. "So...what did you want to tell me?" Kanato asked while looking over the railing at the Ace Academy's field. "Well I was wondering if you'd go to a friend of mine's party with me? A lot of people I know are going to be there and I really wanted you to meet them, plus it'll give us some time to...get to know each other, y'know?" Naruto said while scratching the back of his head.

Kanato couldn't believe what he had just heard. Naruto was asking him out!? Him!? On a date!? Kanato closed his eyes tight. "Y-yes, I'll go w-with y-you!" He tried his best not to sound too happy, but Naruto could still since his exitedness. Naruto smiled, satisfied with the answer he was given. "Alright, then let's go." Naruto said as he grabbed Kanato's hand and led him out of the school.

After about thirty minutes of walking they arrived at the location. It was a two-story house with a simple yet pleasant design. At the door stood a girl with brown hair put up in two buns. She was greeting the guest. As soon as Naruto came up to the door her smile grew. "Naruto you made it!" She happily said. It was after saying this that she noticed Kanato standing behind Naruto shyly. "Oh and who's this? A friend of yours." She said while giving Kanato one of the same smiles she gave Naruto. Kanato braced himself for Naruto's reply. He secretly didn't want anyone to know about their relationship yet..."Yeah something like that." Naruto said with a grin. "Okay well enjoy!" She said while letting them in.

An hour later Naruto had already introduced Kanato into pretty much all of his friends. Now they sat side by side in the kitchen while they spoke of different things. Naruto stood and looked at Kanato. "Okay I think we should get going, do you want me to walk you home?" Naruto asked. "You don't have to..." Kanato said quietly. Naruto took Kanato's hand and led him out of the house.

"But I can if I want to, right?" He asked. "Yes." Kanato said. They walked untill they reached the Sakamaki house. Kanato gave Naruto a hug while Naruto ruffled his hair one last time before Kanato went into the place he called home.
