The smell of blood Part 2

NAOKO POV

I felt bad that I had to hide secrets from Chisaki.But on the other hand it was the only way to keep her safe.I decided to visit Chisaki.

"Chi are you ok?"

"Yeah I am.But I need to talk to you."

"Alright."

So we went to the living room.

"It was you and Kaien who brought me home after the attack of the vampire.So thank you."

She KNOWS?And REMEMBERS?

I couldn't deny anything.

"The reason Kaien and I were outside was..."

"You were on a date."

"WHAT!!!No!!Its...not like that."

"But you look cute together."

Me and Kaien?Never thought about it.

"Kaien and I actually patrol during the nights.We protect the city from any kind of danger.Lately we had to kill blood thirsty creatures but they weren't vampires."

"Oh this explains why you are tired and sleepy."

Chisaki wasn't scared.She was amazed.This is something I didn't expect.I also saw her wearing the bandage around her neck.The dream came to my mind and I rushed to the toilet.I vomitted.Those thoughts were haunting me again.

"Naoko?What's wrong?"

"I guess I ate something and I am a little sick."

"I will make a tea."

"Thanks."

So for the rest of the evening Chi and I talked about school.Oh yeah we also had exams...Oh man!I am glad Chisaki was alright.

I told mr Kamui and Kaien that Chisaki's memory wasn't erased.

"I told her only for the patrol and the blood thirsty former humans."

"It's alright Naoko.Chisaki is a good person.We can trust her."

"I agree with dad.While you visit Chi dad and I went to the forest.We found a dead deer."

"Was it an animal?" I asked

"No.But neither a wolf.What do you say dad?"

"Maybe it was a vampire."

"Dad,I thought vampires drink only human blood."

"That's not entirly true.They can also drink blood from animals,blood bags and even blood of other vampires.But most of them drink human blood."

So a deer was found dead by blood loss.And Chisaki for a strange reason remembers everything that happened.The last few weeks Kaien and I battled many former humans.

KAMUI POV

Naoko and Kaien upstairs.I opened the door.It was that woman.But now her dark black hair were longer.But those blue eyes were the same.

"Oh I am looking for mr Arima."

"It is me.Come inside."

We went to the living room.

"My name Saya Amamiya.I am a doctor and a druid."

"My name is Kamui Arima.You must be the doctor the council talked about."

We shook hands.Then Kaien and Naoko approached us.

"And these are my kids.My son Kaien and my daughter Naoko."

"It is nice to meet you.I am the new doctor.My name is Saya."

NAOKO POV

It was strange that mr Kamui introduced me as his daughter.Mrs Saya was very elegant.She examined one of those kind of zombies.She did autopsy.

They weren't actually real vampires.They were artficial vampires.The questions were who and why makes artificial vampires.

I received a message on my phone.

"IF YOU WANT TO SEE YOUR FRIEND AGAIN,COME ALONE.AT 7:00,MEET ME AT PARK."

Kaien and mr Kamui went for hunting.So I took my chance.I went to the park as the message said.The last thing I remember...I was stabbed.
