Chapter 1:

Meeting with The Devil

Psychopath in Another World

When I awoke, I was in hell.

I was surrounded by flames under a crimson sky, the screams of the damned echoing in my ears. Sitting in front of me on the ground was a tall winged demon with horns on it's head and hooves as it's feet; The Devil himself.

"Kuro," he said in a deep, raspy voice, a smile forming on his hideous face. "You are one sick bastard, even for me. I'm impressed."

"Well, you're not the first to say that," I answered dryly.

"For what you've done in your lifetime, you've got an eternity in hell waiting for you, you know that?"

"I wouldn't have expected anything less," I replied.

Suddenly, he started to laugh in a loud, booming voice.

"This is the first time I've seen such a reply in all my centuries as the king of Hell. And expectably, it's coming from someone who killed his family, friends and the one he loved," he said, trying to stifle his laughter.

I didn't reply. My blood boiled when he talked about my parents, so bad that I wanted to kill him right here, right now.

"I feel the malice brewing in you," he said with a smirk. "You are truly irredeemable. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the last time you felt like this when you were molesting your 6 year old sister's head?"

"Fuck you," I said. "What do you know about me?" But I knew that he knew.

"I talked to God the other day," he said, ignoring my question. "And that bastard said you had a chance to rehabilitate, do you believe it? What bullshit. Which is why I bet against him."

"Rehabilitate?"

"Yeah. And to win the bet, here's what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna send you to another world, after changing your way of thinking. From now on, you'll think like a good person."

"Change my way of thinking? Wait-"

"Yeah, basically, I'll make you think like and act like you're a good person. You'll be making a conscious effort to change. But eventually you will, and I know you will, return to your old ways at some point when you succumb to one of your 'cravings.' And that's when I'll win my bet against God," he said, scratching his wings.

"Huh?" My mind was filled with questions, but it was useless asking them.

"Okay, enough time wasted, go on your way. And oh, before you leave, keep in mind that even if you become a good human being and do nothing wrong, you'll still go to hell after you die to atone for your sins. Goodbye!"

Suddenly I floated into the air, flashes of light surrounding me as I began to teleport to another world.

"Wait-!"
