Reincarnation on another world...

I see dark...
I see darkness...
I still see darkness...
I hear some mumbled voices.
The voices get louder and louder.

My consciousness is slowly returning.
I open my eyes. 
I see a lady holding me in her arms, she has very bright white skin, light brown eyes, white hair, and elf ears. It's quite obvious she's one kind of an elf.

Huh? This is literally incomprehensible.
I look around and see I'm in a what looks like to be a small cabin ,probably in a forest or something, and I see another lady lying in bed panting. The lady that's holding me gives me to that other lady.

I look at her face as she's holding me, she looks back at me and smiles. 
Being born is a lot emotional and touching when you're conscious, huh?
Oh wait, I'm a baby so I should probably act like one. Think Genji think! What do babies do when they are born? They cry!
I try to cry, but nothing happens. I try again, to see no success. I try so hard that it probably looks like I'm giving birth myself. Huff, puff. It seems I simply can't force myself to cry and that makes me, sad.

Huh, sad? I can feel the tears in my eyes. It's not like willingly unable to cry made me depressed or something, why am I crying?

Well anyways, I start to actually cry and the lady holding me ,presumably my mother, starts to comfort me. Heh, being comforted sure does feel good, it's been a long time since I felt like this in my previous life.

After some time though, they put me in a what seems to be a cradle. There is also another person on this cradle, a baby in fact. I don't know their gender or who they are but I'll assume they are my sibling. 

By the way these people are talking about something but I still have no idea what they're saying, usually characters of these stories get some sort of translation ability but I don't seem to have it. That's a shame.

And I can't help but think, where is my father? Do I have so bad of a father that he doesn't show up to his children's birth, or does he simply not exists? I don't know, guess I'll find out as I go.

I think it's been like 6-8 months since my birth. Yep, it's been some time.

In this time, I focused on listening to my mothers language and observing the outside world. But for some reason, I can learn like really fast. After my birth everything was still incomprehensible to me for 1-2 months, though it slowly started to get more and more comprehensible.

After 3 months, I was able to understand every part of the conversation and even pick up on some words. Learning some words in 3 months is almost no progress, though when you do take into account that I'm a baby... Yeah, my existence in this world is weird.

Also I can hear you asking ''How are you able to know how much months have passed?'', well my super genius brain came up with a plan! I counted every day in my mind ,since I had nothing to do, and with that I was able to tell how much month has passed. Well... nobody really is hearing this...

But anyway! after 5 months or so I finally learned something spectacular! Skills!

I haven't unlocked any of them, but it seems I do have the potential to unlock them! I mean, having Soul Magic Mastery 0 must mean I can unlock it but it is not unlocked yet right? Though I feel like even being able to look at stats at this age is a bit, y'know, something that isn't just meant to happen in this world.

Also surprise surprise, I have a sister. I think her name is ''Roxy''. Another very important information is that It seems we are ''dark elven'', the dark version of elves! I've heard it while my mother and our ''aunt'' was chit-chatting. Though for some reason we don't look that much like a dark elf?

Usually the elves have a bright white skin, while dark elves have a more dark toned skin. But everyone I've seen so far have pale white skin and white hair. I can't really say that to me or my sister though, since we both have no hair at all right now. Although we both have pale white skin.

Well anyway, I expected to be a human and maybe even become a ''hero''. Though, I'm interested on where this will lead on since I've never really seen a story that starts like this...
