Soon the day of the flight arrived, Satomi was waiting in the lounge for his ride to arrive.
‘Why is it taking so long this time….I can’t wait to see my family after all these years. Still pretty glad I stopped a major war from turning into a disaster.’

Satomi suddenly feels a presence full of charisma somewhere near him and thus proceeds to look around cautiously. To his surprise, he found him gazing upon a girl in her early twenties perhaps the same age as him. But she definitely wasn’t alone since what seemed like her fans, which were hundreds in numbers, were following her trying to get her attention to click photos with her or get her autograph but they were pushed back at the entrance of the airport by the security.

Being curious, Satomi , as keen he is to staying updated to every detail of his surrounding took out his phone and searched up about her in the internet.
‘I wonder what type of celebrity she is to have that many fans.’

‘Suchika Nora, a wonder in the present world whose popularity skyrocketed in only a week after only posting about 3 videos on gaming. She is considered to be an introvert who is highly obsessed with gaming and can be termed as a gamer girl as the new generation likes to call her. An interview with her reveals her thoughts on her fame and what she wants to do-‘

“Umm..,hello everyone, I guess? I really don’t know what I am supposed to do here but I guess I will go ahead by answering your questions?”
The conversation then moves forward as below between Nora and the reporter.

“Oh, no need to worry. I will help you out. Firstly can you tell your name and what you want to do?”

“Oooo yea sure sure. Sooo… uhhh … what was my name again? I am getting coldfeet here even after your warm words, sorry bout that.”

“It’s alright. We already know you are not good at socializing much so it’s our fault that we are bothering you but we would be pleased if you could cope with us for the time being.”

“Ah, I guess I’ll try my best. Soo… my name is Suchika Nora as far as I remember since I use my gamer tag more often which is meowlover_<3. And about what I want to do, I think I wanna continue playing my favourite games as a professional gamer going abroad to Japan since I guess that’s where I will belong properly. I really hope I can stay there indoors since I don’t like being disturbed in the midst of my gameplays….”

“Can I also ask why Japan will be better for you instead of your homeplace, Canada?”

“There’s really not much of a reason but my mom really doesn’t like me playin all these games all the time and tells me to quit. But I think I can assure myself by picking this as my occupation. And that’s why I think I will be able to work in peace in Japan.”

‘The interview couldn’t continue much longer since Nora fainted from all the sudden spotlight she was facing. And it’s not only that’s she’s drop dead gorgeous but her achievements from winning many gaming tournaments have earned her the name of “The Unrivaled Player”.’

I think I get the gist of why’s she so famous. But I really did let my guard down. This isn’t the time for me to be fazed by a girl. Meanwhile what his heart wanted deep down :
‘I want to protect this small cute girl soooo baddd….aaaahhh how can someone be so cuteee!’
Although that is safely locked up since that’s what an army officer has to sacrifice to have absolute dominance over others.

It has been proven psychologically that a person who doesn’t feel emotion can’t be manipulated or be put at work forcibly rather he only feels physical pain. This stood as the sole motto of Satomi.

Therefore he tried his best to distract his mind from Nora but it seemed like his lock had been unlocked somehow by a mysterious feeling that had his heart starting to throb.

His minds were being clouded with thoughts like,
‘Is she getting in the same flight?’
‘If so, will I have my seat beside her?’
‘Will I be able to get to know her better?’
‘Wait…why am I even getting paranoid over this flimsy concepts. Why do I care?’

Not being accustomed to these feelings, Satomi shrugged his body and put on his empty outlook again which probably felt like a snake shedding its skin like it was nothing new.

It was a fact that Satomi had no prior interest nor any experience with gaming but he suddenly got hooked up with it on the internet while passing his time on his phone waiting for his flight to arrive. It goes without saying that even if he tried to put off a show that the videos he was watching were Nora’s gaming clips which came on accident, it is pretty clear that he couldn’t take his eyes off Nora’s face and it can be supposed that his ears were ringing and heart melting only through hearing the sweet words coming out of Nora’s mouth.

Although Nora never did glance upon Satomi who had a fandom behind him, for he was quite handsome as well, in the airport already which he obviously didn’t notice. Satomi doubted his attributes and believed this feeling in his chest only to be a one-sided love or crush to be exact.

At last, Satomi saw that she really was dedicated to being a professional gamer and he could see the fire lit up in her heart. Thus, wasting no time, he accepted reality by recalling his own dreams and aspirations and moved on or that was what he thought because what comes in the future is always unpredicatable may it be in real life or may it be in a story……
