VIRGIL POV

In my mind that memory appeared.

FLASHBACK

"Kamui I understand that you did it for Kaien and Naoko.But what about Saya?"

"I did it because I am in love with her!"

"Does she...?"

"No."

"Do you have any regrets?"

"No."

Reggina came to the room.

"Virgil,what are you going to do now?"

"I quit as president.So I am no longer your boss.Besides my time to retire I knew it was going to come."

"I had no doubts about you Virgil.You always trust your heart."

I leaned closer and kissed her hand.I also wrapped Reggina into my arms.

"Thank you."

So I left the room.I didn't want to condemn my own child.He deserves a second chance.I know he is in good hands.

KAMUI POV

I decided to talk to Kaien about Saya.

"Kaien,after your mum died I closed my heart.I wouldn't allow anyone else.Until I met Saya...I wanted to be honest with you.I love Saya and I finally decided to stop running away from myself."

"Dad...I am glad that you there is someone special for you.I want you to be happy."

I just hugged my silly son.

"Thank you Kaien."

REGGINA POV

FIVE YEARS AGO 

I was going to become the secretary of the new president of council.I was so nervous.I met a pair of gray eyes and black hair.

"I am your new secretary.I am Reggina Silverstain.It is an honor to meet you sir."

"Oh please,do not be so formal.I am blushing.So it would be my honor to work with you.I am Virgil Knightroad."

NAOKO POV

Father and I started training together.We also spended time together.Unlike me father likes reading a lot.He even started reading a new book.

"I didn't know you like reading Sherlock Holmes."

"I like reading mystery stories.Last time I read a mystery novel it was from Ranpo Edogawa."

"I see."

"I am at the chapter where we meet Sherlock's nemesis."

"Nemesis?"

"Yes.His name William James Moriarty."

So last few weeks were passing peacefully.Yesterday we had pic nic with father.Little did I knew that it would be our last moment together.

I went to my dad's house.Kaien was with me.He was suffering in agony.

"Dad!"

"Hello sweetie.I am sorry.It is time for me to go."

"But..."

"Kaien..."

"I know mr Issei.Count on me."

"Good.The virus...Looks like I wasn't healed completely.Naoko...Do it."

I had no choice.I stabbed my own father to his stomach.He rather die by my hand rather than kill me.Kaien just embraced me.

ISSEI POV

Recently I discovered that I wasn't cured by the virus.It was nice,spending time with my beloved daughter.

Kaien I know I can count on him.I know it was difficult for my own child to kill me.But she undesrtood what would happen.

"Thank you" were my last words. It was both for Kaien and Naoko.

When I opened my eyes I was in a beautiful place.Then I saw a figure in yellow lilies.

"Mrs yellow lily..."

"Mr vampire!"

I was reunited with my beloved Sayoko.

"Sayoko..."

"I was waiting for you,Issei."

I could touch her.I could be with her.After being separated from my beloved wife and daughter my immortality was nothing but a curse.Finally I am with my queen.

Meanwhile I know a knight who will look after my princess.
