The mad queen

While Peter and Mimoko were duking it out on the grand stage, the other participants in the tournament were stuck playing in the standard playing room.

"Whoever wins that match wins the blitz tournament. Then the award ceremony begins at 1:30 and the main tournament begins at 2:30. Though I'm honestly worried about Utami-chan,” Okisato thought as Haruki shot him a malicious wave as he sat across from Utami.

"Um, are you looking at something?" Okisato's opponent nervously asked.

"No, now did you move?"

"Yes, to c7."

"Guess I'll finish this," Okisato sighed.

Over at the other board, Haruki grinned as he stared down Utami. "Well aren't ya gonna move? Thirty seconds have already flown by, and my pawn's just dyin’ out there on e4," Haruki sneered.

"What is your aim?" Utami glared.

"You lose, you become my sex doll. Win, and I leave ya alone for the rest of your life," Haruki sneered as he flashed his DESPER.

"You fiend... I WILL beat you," Utami glared as she moved her pawn to d5.

"You WILL lose!" Haruki sneered as he pocketed his DESPER and captured the pawn at d5 with his e-pawn while Utami captured said pawn with her queen. "You really like usin’ your queen, well too bad you're up against one of the biggest queen abusers on the planet," Haruki sneered as he moved his knight to c3.

"You are vile," Utami glared in disgust as she moved her queen to e6.

"So how bout ya resign then?" Haruki sneered as he moved his queen to e2.

"If I stop you here, you are to never bother any of us ever again, AND turn yourself into the police, where you are to request transfer to the most inhumane prison on the planet and be tortured 24/7 until you die," Utami glared as she moved her knight to c6.

Nearby players glanced over in shock as Haruki began to chuckle. "Seems ya got some split personality going. Well, now I'm definitely makin’ you a sex slave. And rest assured, I'll make sure you’re at your strongest when I dehumanize ya," Haruki sneered as he moved his knight to b5.

"Never have I ever been more disgusted in someone. Enough talk," Utami glared as she moved her queen to d7.

"But since my DESPER's active, we can talk all we want without repercussion,” Haruki sneered as he flashed his DESPER before an approaching arbiter.

The official froze and nervously turned the other way as Haruki pocketed his DESPER and moved his knight to f3.

"How sickening. He manipulates everyone with fear. Unfortunately, his skill at the game is no joke," Utami thought as she moved her pawn to a6.

Haruki smirked and moved his knight to c3 followed by Utami moving her knight to f6. He then moved his pawn to h3 while Utami moved her pawn to e5. He then began to chuckle as he captured the pawn at e5 with his knight, prompting Utami to capture said knight with her own.

"What a dumb bitch. Now take a good look at how I use my bitch," Haruki sneered as he captured the knight at e5 with his queen, forcing Utami to move her bishop to e7. "Come on Utami-tan, get all angry for me. That way I can compare ya before and after I f*** ya up," he sneered as he moved his pawn to d4 and whipped out his phone.

"That's blatant cheating!" Utami shouted.

"Nah, see DESPER's prevent cheating of any kind. Besides, I'm just takin’ your pic."

"Before, I was hesitant to fall to insanity to achieve victory, now, I have no qualms about making you cry. Scum like you deserves to suffer," Utami glared as she castled on the king's side.

Haruki snickered and played a whipping sound effect on his phone before moving his queen to e3. After Utami moved her rook to e8, Haruki once again played the whip sound effect as he moved his queen to e2.

"That piece of shit. I'm going to humiliate him," Utami thought as a terrifying glare appeared on her face as she rapidly moved her bishop to a3.

"Wow, now you're sentencing your bishop to lynching. What a dumbass," Haruki sneered as he captured the bishop at a3 with his b-pawn.

"Check, you piece of shit," Utami seethed with fury as she captured the queen at e2 with her rook.

Haruki blinked in shock before a scowl almost as nasty as Utami's appeared on his face. "Don't you dare try and uprise against me you f****** whore," he snarled as he captured the rook at e2 with his knight.

Now the gloves were off as the game picked up at a rapid pace. Utami moved her queen to a4 followed by Haruki advancing his pawn to c3. Next, Utami moved her queen to c2 while Haruki moved his bishop to g5. Utami then threatened the bishop by moving her knight to e4, but was forced to capture the pawn at a2 on her next turn instead after Haruki moved his rook to c1.

The arbiter from before nervously glanced over as Haruki moved his bishop to f4 and Utami moved her bishop to f5. "He looks pissed off! I hope he doesn't drag me into that DESPER battle. I don't want to die or become his slave!" he thought as Haruki moved his pawn to f3 and Utami moved her knight to f6.

Okisato then passed by and caught a glimpse of the game. "G4, bishop d3, bishop captures c7, rook e8, bishop e5, knight d5, rook d1, bishop captures e2, knight captures c3, rook d2, Utami-chan's in a good position," he thought as Utami moved her queen to b1.

"Sir, if you are finished playing, please leave, and if you are still playing, return to your board immediately," the nervous arbiter glared as Haruki moved his rook to d1.

"Never thought I'd be so upset about an opponent resigning," Okisato sighed as he headed out just as Utami moved her queen to c2.

Haruki then moved his rook back to d1, prompting Utami to capture it with her knight. Haruki promptly captured said knight with his bishop, giving Utami the chance to move her queen to e3.

Haruki reached for his bishop, but stopped before his hand touched the piece. "That f****** whore! I'll kill her for this!" he fumed as he moved his king to f1.

A sadistic grin began to spread on Utami's face as she moved her pawn to f6.

"Oi, what's with that sexy look? You tryin’ to turn me on?" Haruki cooed as his anger subsided a bit while he moved his bishop to g3.

Utami's scowl returned. "Just when I was about to gloat in my victory, you disgust me once more," she glared as she moved her queen to d2.

"What victory? Check, Utami-tan," Haruki smooched as he moved his bishop to b3.

"You are vile. I would love to punch you in your disgusting face, but that would disqualify me immediately and likely bring you pleasure," Utami glared as she moved her king to h8.

"Right on both fronts. But that doesn't mean you still can't do it," Haruki taunted as he moved his bishop to d5.

"Why would I? You just sealed your fate, TRASH!" Utami roared as she moved her rook to e2.

"The hell you playin’ at?" Haruki scowled as he moved his bishop to b3.

Utami remained silent and moved her queen to d3.

"OI! Don't ignore me you f****** whore!" Haruki shouted as he slammed his bishop down on f2.

"Fine, mate in 4," Utami glared as she captured the pawn at f3 with her queen.

Haruki's eyes widened with fury as he stared at the board. "You F****** WHORE!" he shouted as he moved his rook to h2.

"How pathetic, you struggle like the trash you are," Utami glared as she moved her rook to b2.

Haruki then moved his bishop to d1 in a last ditch effort to throw off Utami, but Utami saw through it and moved her rook to b1. Now, Haruki's only option of delaying his inevitable mate was to move his king to g1. As soon as said move was complete, Utami happily captured the bishop at d1 with her rook, forcing Haruki to move his bishop to e1.

"Enjoy hell in prison, checkmate," Utami glared as she captured the bishop at e1 with her rook.

The arbiter let out a sigh of relief as Haruki rose with his head hung low and walked out of the room. Once he was out, a smirk appeared on his face. "What a dumbass. I never activated my DESPER. Pisses me off that I lost, but now once she tells everyone she beat me, they'll let their guard down and I can snag the big lug before they know what hits them."

A minute later, Utami exited the playing room and let out a sigh of relief. "No sign of him. Hopefully he truly turned himself into the police. Now, where was Mimoko-sama playing-"

"Utami-chan?"

"GAH!"

Utami turned to notice Mimoko standing behind her.

"Sorry for startling you, I just won my game and heard from Tanabe-kun that you were still playing, so I decided to head over here and wait for you to finish. How'd it go?"

"I vanquished the piece of shit."

"'Piece of shit'? Utami-chan-"

"No, he truly was irredeemable scum. He even activated his DESPER and set a VILE condition should I have fallen, but I beat him and now he'll never mess with us ever again.

"D- DESPER!? Well, in that case, good job Utami-chan. How about I treat you to some lunch."

"L- Lunch with Mimoko-sama!? Y- Yes... Please," Utami blissfully smiled as she fainted in exhaustion.

"Utami-chan! Ugh, you poor thing. Well, hopefully they'll let you rest in the booth while I order lunch for us," Mimoko smiled as she hoisted Utami up, and supported her as she headed for the hotel restaurant.

Rodeo hung his head low as he walked through the hotel. "...Lost every game," he mumbled. Suddenly, someone approached him. "You're..."
