Wanna come inside?

"This is my house.", said Ayane, standing in front of her house.

"I see."

Ayane was thinking about something, before she said it out loud,

"Oh! Wanna come inside?", said she, as she clasped her hand.

"Eh?!", Kanako was shocked, "Ayane-chan, you realise what you are saying, right?"

"What's wrong?"

"Think about it yourself."

"I don't understand."

"You are inviting 'me to your house', and it's nighttime. You realise it, don't you?"

Ayane flushed out. She really didn't think about it. But at this point, she couldn't really back out.

"W-well, if i-its you, I-I don't mind."

"Ehh!!?", he was even more shocked.

"I am going!", he dashed out.

"W-wait!", Ayane grabbed his hand.

"Ayane-chan, no matter what you say, I just can't. It doesn't sit right with me as a man."

"I know. I know but, I also know that you wouldn't do anything to me because it's you."

"Still."

"Well then, you wouldn't mind if you just stand here, will you?"

"I don't mind."

"Then I will be right back, please wait here."

Kanako was standing outside, while Ayane ran inside, turned the lights on and seemingly dispersed her presence in the air. Kanako stood there for some time, before leaning on the wall.

After some time, he heard the calm yet quick footsteps of Ayane, coming towards his direction. She was breathing sightly harder than usual.

"Im back!", said she, with two cups in her hand, and wearing an apron.

"What's this?"

"Hot choco. I don't know if its to your suiting. But this is all I could prepare in the meantime.", she handed on of the cups.

"Oh, you didn't have to do that.", he took the cup she gave.

"I had to! You took me to a date! This is the least I could do!"

"Okay okay.", he said as he took a sip.

His eyes widened, only one thought was running through his head.

"It's good! Very good!", he said, took another sip, and the another, while Ayane stared at him, smiling and leaning on the door.

"I am glad that you liked it."
