CHIKAGE POV

She was like the wind.You couldn't catch her.Suddenly I collapsed.I woke up in hospital.Yukio and Erina were there.

"Hey bro,what happened to that woman?"

"Yeah,what happened to that she wolf?"

"She ran.How long was I sleeping?"

"For three days."

"Yeah bro.You lost too much blood."

"Is Avril Baskervile safe?"

"Yes she is.I am going on a mission.Avril Baskerville asked me."

ERINA POV

We lost too many people to that ball.But they were also a few survivors.Avril Baskerville wanted me to help her in order to find the lost diary of her grandfather and I accepted.We left Japan and traveled to France.We went to Joel Baskervile's mansion.Unfortunately the diary was nowhere to be found.

"Miss Baskervile,you should rest.I am going to find the diary."

"Thank you Erina."

It would be a difficult task to find Joel's diary.I went to a cafetiria.

"Two coffees please.One for the lady and one for me.I paying."

Well seeing a man offering to buy you coffee was kind of new to me.

"Are you new here miss?"

"Yes.I am searching for Joel Baskervile's diary."

"I guess we have something in common."

Our coffees came.

"I am also looking for a rare tome which was stolen.I have no doubt it was stolen by the same person."

"Why would someone steal the diary of Baskervile Joel?"

"Good question.If you want we can work together for now."

"Agree."

"May I have your name, mademoiselle?"

"My name is Erina Wingates."

"My name is Elijah Epinay."

He kissed my hand as a gentleman.So he paid for the coffee and we started our searching.Elijah had an idea of where the thief could be.We went to a sanatorium.

"A sanatorium?"

"Doesn't it sound an interesting please to hide,mademoiselle?"

"Oui (Yes)."

Both of us felt that something was coming from the shadows.Elijah carried me and both of us got away.

"I see.Our thief has used a spell.He is here."

So we found our thief.Alois Garnier was the thief of the tome and the diary of Joel Baskervile.He wanted to use the mysterious tome which had magical powers.He also wanted to make money by stealing Joel's diary.

He created a dragon made by glass.I see.Glass manipulation magic.So I took my lance and started fighting that dragon.

Elijah tried to fight him.He even created a clone of glass.That glass dragon was very annoying.And he beated me.I got away easily.

ELIJAH POV

Alois turned his hand into a blade of glass.It was difficult.He was too fast.Not even my magical bullets could catch him.He beated me countless times.He stabbed my leg with his glass blade.So it would be difficult to move.

ERINA POV

I used Kindess of wood.It immobilized the dragon.Then I used Outburst of nature.The dragon was hit several times and with my lance I was able to piece it.The dragon turned into pieces of glass.

ELIJAH POV

I got away from Alois.He was ready to stab me to same spot.But I used quickly a magic bullet.I aimed he right arm and it broke.I attacked him directly and broke his neck.

Both Erina and I found what we have been looking.The tome I was searching for.

"Beast in the shadows" of Ranpo Edogawa and diary of Joel Baskervile.

Erina and I were curious and read the diary of Joel Baskervile.

"Vampires are amusing creatures.One day I traveled into an other universe.I was in a different Rome.An epidemic turned humans into vampires and a cold war started.

I also saw that they were some special kind of vampires.They were called Crusnik.Among them they were two female and two male.

But the  first Crusnik, the older brother killed the fourth crusnik.His twin younger brother tried to stop him.Still it wasn't enough.

The young brother  and his little sister decided to help humanity and stop their brother if he ever appeared again.

Crusnik are vampires who feed on blood of other vampires.I came back.My wife,Jeanne and I were working together on that project.

When she died,I felt I lost my world.But still I worked on our project.Unfortunately,they are not vampires.They are cannibals by the name wendigo.

They feed on flesh and like vampires and werewolves they choose if they want to turn someone like them.I created them and I am going the one who will destroy them.I leave my legacy  and the guild to my son,Bradley Baskervile.

I wish I can live a little more.Sharon Versallius,my daughter in law is pregnant.I wonder what name they will choose for my grandaugther."

Ironically,Joel was murdered one week after the birth of his grandaughter by his own experiments.So I brought Avril the diary of her grandfather and she thanked me.Elijah would take the tome somewhere safe.I parted ways with Elijah and I went back to Japan.
