Candy Room

I could do nothing but watch this YuYu Doll stand up while Izusaki was still inside crying for what sounded like it would be an eternity.

Princess Candiere turned back around to face me before bringing out a heart-shaped lollipop.

“Now that we got all of the fun stuff out of the way, it’s time to show what I have in store for you my darling. Open wide...”

I tried the best I could to keep my mouth closed, but Princess Candiere’s magic was too strong. I ended up sucking on the contents of the lollipop which had a hint of cherry flavor to it.

Feeling myself drifting off into what felt like a dreamy trance, I shifted into a gigantic cold dark room filled with candy-like props pervading my view. The floor also had this decorative peppermint swirl to it. When I touched the walls, I could feel the brittle surface of a thick ice cream cone. The top balcony had plastic vanilla frosting, dripping chocolate, and colorful sprinkles surrounding it.

In the middle of that room was a large statue of who I could assume was Princess Candiere for sure. I walked past it to find a pink staircase that led into this fancy candy cane entranceway which showed a sign atop of it:

The Candy Room.

I was unable to see where it would send me so I went back to observe further from below. There were fifteen other entrances like it surrounding the balcony and these glowing white pixelated hearts spread out across each one.

Searching around this place did not do me any favors until I suddenly saw what looked to be Izusaki walking around aimlessly in the distance.

I wanted to believe it was her. I really did. Unfortunately, part of me knew that wasn’t true already.

When she seemed to finally notice me, she acted like herself running towards me.

However, I didn’t feel like falling for this anymore.

I started to dash towards the stairs.

In an instant the cloudy darkness from inside the entrances wiped away like a dissipating fog, revealing this crayon drawn landscape inside of it that looked like it had been created by a toddler.

Hallucinating was the last thing I wanted to be experiencing as I turned back to find Izusaki had transformed into the nightmarish YuYu Doll once again.

“Ryutane-kun! Help me! Please? Don’t leave me here!“

I was too afraid to even consider her question. Running around the balcony was the most difficult part of it all as YuYu chased me all over the place.

During this frantic moment, the doll was able to jump from large heights, making it even harder to get it off of my trail.

“You’re not Izusaki! Stay away from me!”

I expected this chase was going to wear me down eventually, but when I said this to her, the doll suddenly stopped.
