The Doll

I was down on my last straw with these people. Nothing could ever convince me that they were up to anything good no matter what. My strength was slowly returning but I started to feel horribly worse for Izusaki. Seeing her knocked out on the ground was something I didn't see coming.

Now I was regretting what I said when I asked what had gotten into her. This was certainly beyond my control. Everything that led to now wasn’t the summer break I expected to have. At the end of it all though, what we witnessed next, deeply disturbed me.

The fake princess began stabbing Imagi multiple times everywhere. Exactly as Izusaki told me Sire had done when he killed his parents. I couldn’t understand what was going on until her rotten smile became more visible.

“Allow me to introduce myself, young meddling children. My name is Princess Candiere! A beloved icon by many people of this world,” she spoke with immense enthusiasm.

“Why would anyone love you? You kill people that don’t deserve it. That doesn’t make any sense!” I shouted back at her.

Without warning, I started to float off the ground and towards Princess Candiere. My body was stiff and helpless as she came forward to talk to me.

“Sweet child, I think you fail to realize that love comes in many ways. Even if it’s a little conniving every now and then.”

She started to giggle before showing the four-foot tall plush doll she had been carrying around with her as she manipulated it like a puppet with her magic.

“Say… I have a secret to tell you. Those four people I sent after you are already dead themselves. Practically begging and crying as I force their bodies to serve only me.”

I was starting to lose my patience with this fake princess and her terrible monologuing.

“Oh dear, there is just this one problem. This doll I made needs a lively child so it can become a real girl. Aha! I think I know just the solution.”

She started to face me towards Izusaki which made my brain go into panic mode. I was looking around for Lilac, but she was laying there unconscious because of those stupid four bullies.

Meanwhile, Izusaki woke up with two broken ankles as she saw the princess approaching her.

“Do you want to play with YuYu?” asked Princess Candiere with menacing glee.

Izusaki tried her best to escape, dragging away and crying for help. Before long, the doll Princess Candiere made started moving around by itself and mimicking Izusaki entirely as it crawled faster and faster after her.

No sooner did this happen, the doll laid itself on top of Izusaki, drenching itself over her like a giant sheet of fabric. The screams from within the doll started to turn into muffled swaths of stuffing.

In her final moments, YuYu became one with her.
