Chapter XV : Broken Memories

“So were you guys close or?” Victoria said, trying to make small conversation during their flight back to the Saviors Base. “Eh. We knew the bearded armor guy named was Fourthwind, Met him a while ago trying to take our stuff, nice dude” Josh exclaimed. The Whole Scenery would feel awkward, and after the loss of Two of their friends, it should. As it stands they’re only home is destroyed, all they’re rations are gone, and all Fleeting trace of memory they had before the End of Earth was Fading. Gerak would be there too stunned to speak, It felt like a mix between anger and depression, the gray area, if you might suppose. “So where is the base at?” Josh said to Jason, “The base is actually located pretty close to the base, that’s how we managed to get your call so fast” Jason replied. “Interesting,” Josh replied, trying desperately to make the situation better. Josh would then stay quiet for a moment as he starts to have Flashbacks to the Things that happened before the Apocalypse, He Remembered his Wife, His Twin Children.

Location : Josh’s House [18/03/2052]

“Mommy Daddy's Home!” The Sounds of Happy children would occur, as Josh walks up to the front porch of his Home. It would be around 3 PM, He lived in a neighborhood, he recently just bought the home after serving his time in the Royal Marines. He had started his training when he was fresh out of highschool, and because of his troubled past he decided to discipline himself and Join the Royal Marines. After Serving his 2 years he found a lovely Wife named Samantha and they had Twins who were named Gaege and Penny. It all seemed happy and neatly tied. As he entered his home, his Two Children who were 4 years old at the time would come to him and give him a hug after a long day of work. But we know what's going to happen next, As this would be his last memory of his Family before things go to shit. Josh would sit down on the Couch and turn on the TV, but soon that would be the worst mistake of his Life. “Meteors Arriving on Earth, Alien Species are Attacking London, We have reports that the British Military is Currently losing the battle, as Brixton Has been destroyed. We Recommend to stay put, Hide Your Familys, and prepare for the End of Earth '' Josh's eyes would flaunder to keep open as his life flashes before his eyes. His Two Kids would start running up to him. “Daddy, I hear a Siren '' Penny said to Josh whilst hugging his father. Josh would stand up and see his wife crying on the kitchen floor. Josh would stand up and run to the kitchen “Whats?-What's Wrong honey?” Josh said quietly and panickingly to not scare his kids. “No- No… NO!” Samantha said in anger, Josh would look up, he sees Rockets heading for London, As the Clocktower Falls, Josh would start to Panic, But before he could calm himself, a Unemorph, an Alien similar to the Xenomorph but has a Split head would barge into the door, making its way, climbing the walls by poking their sharp claws into the wooden walls of the House. As it approaches closer to the Kids. Josh would tackle the beast and start punching it ferociously. The Unemorph would Aggressively try to fend off Josh’s punches but to no avail, it seems like this alien was a part of a weaker bunch. The alien would then successfully Slash Josh in the chest, and Josh lets out a Loud scream from the slash, “KIDS Get in the Truck!” Josh screamed whilst having a face full of alien blood, All green and sticky. A Man wearing a weird Hazard Mask would walk up to the front door, it seemed like he was only wearing a vest and having his chest shown. Josh would recognize the man, and walk up to him, whilst his wife escorted the kids to the Truck, “Glad to see you here…” Josh happily said to the masked man, The smile turned to a frown quickly as the rockets got closer to the ground. “I Think it ain’t time for a reunion quick brother we must go.” The Masked man said to Josh, As they got into the Truck, The Truck would be pretty big, not like an average truck, The Inside would be a Front and Back seat, plenty for the Family, Whilst the masked man would be standing on a cargo bed holding two Ak’s. “Who is the Guy in the mask Dad?” Gaege said. “Just your Idiot Uncle Fordo.” Josh replies as he would start the engine and drive off, He wishes the Story ended there and they could live happily ever after in an alien apocalypse with his Family. But sadly. “Wake up.. Wake up…! Wake up you idiot.!”

It was just Gerak, Turns out Josh had fallen asleep during the Helicopter ride here to the base, They made it. It wasn’t too far from they’re base, but far enough from any ongoing threats. As they hop off the Helicopter, Josh would be holding a picture of his Family, Gerak would enter the base without talking or interacting with anyone besides waking up Josh. Josh would look down at the picture again and say. “ Well.. This is going to be shit show”
