Chapter XVIII : Underground

Location : The Hive [28/09/2067]

“We're in the Hive,” Scarlett said.

Connor replied “What's that yellow liquid?”

“To be honest I have no idea… no one has ever gone here and seen the light of day again.” Scarlett replied back.

“What kind of hell are we in?” Connor said.

Connor would take a glance at the ravine, To see where they could escape this hell. But Scarlett would be more interested in the Hives and the worms, She would see that at the end of the Ravine there would be a waterfall spewing all the weird Yellow liquid, The Waterfall would be covered in fog, making it impossible to see what's above there. He would see floating on the yellow liquid, Meaning the liquid isn't dangerous. Connor would start climbing down, But Scarlett was hesitant. But she knew there was no other choice. She followed Connor as they tried to climb down. It would be nearly impossible, but Connor would persist. He would eventually make it down to another hole, But this one seemed off, It wasn't a hole that was there because of the worms.. No it was a mineshaft. It seemed to be old, Really Old. Scarlett would eventually catch up to Connor, Almost tripping the way there. Scarlett would be amazed at this discovery, But Connor was only excited because he knew that this could be an escape for them. But their plans were cut short, as an Earthquake arose, this wasn’t a normal worm earthquake, it was far stronger, And far more powerful than usual. Suddenly the Yellow liquid would start boiling, Scarlett would take a peak, Her hair would start flying from the wind blowing out of the yellow liquid, The Water would start rising, and the worms would start to run away from the liquid, it was like suddenly the liquid had become too hot for the worms to handle. But suddenly a Massive worm that was around four times larger than the normal worm would suddenly come out of the Yellow liquid. The worm would have golden scales, presumably getting them from the yellow liquid, That worm would be the Queen or the Hive Master.

“Scarlett, we need to go quick! There's a minecraft that can fit both of us, if we're quick we can evade that thing and the worms” Connor said.
“For the best, The worms… they’re coming for us..” Scarlett said

Scarlett would start running entering the Minecart with Connor, Behind them a subspecies of the worms would appear, Codename : Slithering Beast. With a few dozen legs on them they would be far quicker than any worms, They would be purely black with green Lines around them. One of the Slithering beasts would start to chase Scarlett and Connor, The Minecart would start moving. The Minecart moves a little faster than the slithering beast, Scarlett and Connor would hold on tightly to the minecraft, They would see the slithering beast chasing them from behind, Fortunately The Minecart would start going upwards, it would slow down the slithering beast but not for long. As it would get extremely faster. Connor's vision would get pretty blurry, Scarlett would grab Connor's gun and start shooting at the beast.

“Wake up! Wake up!” Connor heard, He would be smiling a bit before it cuts to black.

“Wake up! Wake up” Samuel Connor's brother screamed. Connor woke up inside of the school bus, everything would be blurry, But luckily nothing was hurt, This was after they tried to jump off the school building into the School bus, Somehow it succeeded. Connor was knocked unconscious during the fall but fortunately his brother was able to drag his body inside of the school bus. Apparently it was unlocked and the bus keys were in the keyholder. Connor would stand up seeing various aliens surrounding the school bus, He would Go to the driver seat on the bus and start the engine.

“Samuel hold on.” Connor said.

“Who let you drive??” Samuel responded.

“Me” Connor said before stepping on the gas pedal

. The Bus started to move at a rapid speed, Hitting some aliens along the way, the bus would hit the fence completely wrecking it. They would drive across the road to the city trying to outrun the aliens. They would go to the main road seeing dozens of civilians trying to outrun the aliens and failing. Connor would have the time of his life whilst Samuel is holding on to his seat for dear life. Eventually something would be on top of the bus, A creature of sorts. A Unemorph, They're claws would Pierce through the bus metal plating and start to rip open a hole. Connor would try to shake the unemorph off the bus. But he would suddenly lose control, Hitting another car, crashing the bus. The Bus would be in smoke and flames, all the windows crashed, Samuel would be on the ground, barely breathing. Connor would be unconscious,his head leaning on the steering wheel. And. Suddenly Connor woke up
