Unbuttoned shirt

After that even, Kanako was heated up. Well not really, but he was heated up because of temperature. It was hot outside, even though it was almost night time.

"Mom, might be anxious...", he thought to himself, as he unbuttoned 2 buttons from his shirt to relieve him from the heat.

The road was quite spacious, and yet he collided with a stranger, probably because he was think the embarrasing statement he told Ayane.

"Watch where you are going.", a high pitched voice said to him.

"Oh, sorry sorry, I didn't see you coming."

His eyes gazed on a girl with a hoodie, with some of her purple hair sticking out. She was wearing a mask.

She stared with him for a couple of seconds, before she started to introduce herself, without him even asking.

"I am Sakiko, nice to meet you. You look the same age as me. Which school do you go to?"

"What is Ayane's boyfriend even doing here. Is he coming from her house?", she thought.

"I go to Sakura High School. What about you?"

"Sakuragi high school. Thats the school I go to."

"Isn't that the school Ayane was afraid to cross? She might know what happened to her in middle school."

Sakiko was charmed by Kanako's outward features. Even though she has a popular boyfriend at her school, she has developed a crush for Kanako.

"Can I get you number?", Kanako asked, hoping to extract some information about Ayane. But Sakiko thought otherwise. She grinned in her imagination, before hurrying to get her phone and exchanging numbers.

"This is my lucky day... I think I wont go to Ayane's place today. I guess she is also lucky today too. Te he~", she thought, as they both went to their respective destination.

"Im home!"

"Welcome back, Kanako. You are late.", his mom commented.

"I had some stuffs going on."

"You can't do this all the time, you know? Coming in late give me anxiety. What if my son becomes a delinquent and joins a gang?"

"Then I would have black eyes and bruises. Thats unrealistic."

"Freshen up and eat up. The dinner is ready."

"About that, mom-"

"Hm?"

"Uhh... a friend of mine game me food. I was thinking of eating that tonight. Is that okay?"

"Yep its definitely okay."

He was a bit shocked about how easy it was.

"So... which girl is it?"

He got busted. He couldn't hide it.

"Is she the girl you helped to recover from her fever?"

"Yes... are you mad?"

"You should introduce her. She is your girlfriend after all."

"Shes not!", he said, embarrassed.

"So its still at that stage I see."

"Mom!"

"Regardless, you should introduce her to me."

He didn't say a word after that. He was too embarrassed to do so...
