The 4th of July with a cute tsundere

What are you doing?" Nina asked as I laid down on a lawn chair on the patio.

"Fireworks, today's the 4th of July"

"Huh? You aren't going to get the sparklers?"

"Wait what? Oh right, I forgot Japan has summer festivals with fireworks. Sadly, we don't have festivals here."

"That sucks."

"Yeah, the barbecues just don't compare to the festivals you have in Japan."

"But since we're in America, I guess it makes sense to experience the culture. I've never actually spent a 4th of July in America."

"And how was it?"

As the fireworks started, Nina gave me her answer by kissing me on the lips. "That answer it?"

"Yeah, and I feel the same," I smiled.
