Chapter 39:
Escape:Witch [Remake]
“I wanna see the Colosseum on the cliff!” Madoka pouted.
“Mado-chan, it’s the Parthenon, and we'll see it eventually,” Emeri sighed.
"I wanna go now before I get kidnapped!"
"Knowing your luck... Never mind. Just chug this milk so you can heal up in case you do get attacked."
After leaving the hotel, the girls had decided to go sightseeing in Athens. However, arguments had quickly arose on where to go first. Madoka had suggested the Parthenon, but Emeri was hesitant due to the fact that Madoka still hadn't fully healed yet. Thus, she wanted to remain close and avoid splitting up.
"I knida get why she's so excited. I'm honestly feeling just as giddy as I did when I escaped hell back in 2017," Serika stated.
"I get it too. It's a new unexplored world, and you just gotta experience everything," Yuni chimed.
"Regardless, we really should prioritize safety... Which means we should head to the Olympic stadium," Emeri sighed.
"Oh right! Your folks and Eriza are probably there!" Madoka smiled.
"Unfortunately. Ugh, this means I'm gonna go through hell."
...
As the four girls arrived at the Olympic stadium, they ran into a swole but sexy woman. She wore nothing but running shorts, running shoes, and a sports bra that struggled to contain her titanic breasts. Her skin was smooth and covered with oil, while her short crimson hair perfectly framed her beautiful face and her lapis lazuli colored eyes gazed at the girls.
“Emeri! It's been years! I was afraid ya shut yourself away in some monastery!"
“Ugh, hello mother,” Emeri mumbled as the woman charged towards her and embraced her in a hug. "OW, OW, OW! YOU'RE BREAKING MY BACK!"
"That's why ya gotta build up muscle. Here, chug this peanut butter protein shake!"
"I don't like peanut butter. I'll have just a peach fruit smoothie though."
"Oh, ya always like those, but they might be too heavy for a workout, specially if they add the yogurt."
"Then just plain old peach juice."
"YOU GOT IT!"
The woman was Emeri's mother as well as Harumi's younger sister, Eika Kuramori. Born Akina Ginkawa, the fourth child of Gozaemon Ginkawa, she decided to leave the family in order to make a name for herself without the family's influence looming large. She had always been athletically gifted, and thus decided to pursue a sports career. In a few short years, she quickly became Japan's most decorated female Olympian, with her husband, Koki becoming the country's most decorated male Olympian. Now their daughter Eriza, was set to surpass both of them. Emeri however had inherited none of their athletic genes, which made her life growing up a bit rough. ]
Despite her rough upbringing, Emeri at the very least still loved everyone, notably her little sister, Eriza, who was a bit more sympathetic to her lack of athletic talent. Though her love was thoroughly tested, such as in this very moment when Eika accidentally hurled Emeri through the air as she released her from her hug. Had Serika not caught her, she would have likely fractured some bones on impact.
"MOTHER! THE HELL WAS THAT FOR!?"
"Huh? I hurl Eriza like that all the time and she lands perfectly," Eika replied as she fetched some peach juice from her backpack.
"You really are just like how I remember you, though why isn't your hair silver?" Madoka asked.
“Oh! MADOKA! How ya been? How’s Rumi-ne doin?”
“Momma’s sailing on the mansion, and some thugs broke all my bones the other day. But I escaped with my friends.”
“How’d ya loose to some thugs? I know ya say your bad at martial arts, but your kick is an Olympic treasure. You should try out for the national team, I know-“
“MOTHER! She’s a magician, not an athlete! Besides she just healed up to the point where she can walk around THIS MORNING!” Emeri glared.
“Then let’s do a physical therapy session!” a man’s voice boomed out.
Everyone turned to see large buff hairless man with gold eyes wearing nothing but a speedo and running shoes sprinting towards them. He towered over everyone as he smiled and flexed his pecks. He was also accompanied by a girl that looked similar to Eika except she was shorter, less swole, and had slightly longer crimson hair. The two were none other than Emeri's father, Koki Kuramori, and Eriza Kuramori, Emeri's younger sister.
“Hello Father. Oh, and hi Eriza. You doing well?"
"Yeah, I'm training for the Olympics. So are these your friends?"
"Yeah. You Remember Madoka right? The others are Yuni and Serika."
“So you girls here to be Olympians!? Never fear! We’re in the middle of Eriza’s training session, but the more the merrier! Ha ha ha!” Koki laughed.
“NO! WE ARE SIGHTSEEING!”
“Perfect! We’ll sprint around Athens then! Want to do the 2004 marathon course?”
"Yay, now we can see the Parthingathing!" Madoka cheered.
"It's the Parthenon... Ugh, fine. But slow and steady. Mado-chan's injured and I have no stamina. Yuni-chan and Serika-chan also don't want to work themselves tired just to try and keep up with you."
Eika and Koki blinked before staring down everyone. “Greenie’s got the workings of a great athlete, I can tell just by looking. That sexy body of yours is stronger than it looks. You might even be able to surpass me in strength and beauty if ya undergo daily training," Eika nodded.
“I can see why you speak so negatively of them,” Serika whispered to Emiri.
“Yeah, I warned you. They’re dumb jocks.”
“SPEAK UP EMERI! We can’t hear what you’re sayin!”
“That’s the point.”
Eiza noticing that things were about to get hectic, decided to ease the tension. "Let's race to the Parthenon. Ready, GO!"
Koki and Eika took off without a moment's hesitation, while Eriza stayed behind.
"Good thinking. Looks like you got some brain among all that brawn," Emeri smiled as she patted Eriza's head.
A blissful smile appeared on Eriza's face as she embraced the head pats. Serika meanwhile began to get jealous. "Pat me too, baka," she pouted.
"Hmm? Why's your friend getting all pouty?"
"Oh, it's because she's my girlfriend.
"Emeri-nee has a girlfriend!? Congratulations. Oh, but maybe don't tell Ma and Pa."
"Why not?" Serika asked.
"Because they'd just do something dumb and embarrassing like run around trying to get boyfriends and girlfriends of their own because that's just how stupid they are," Emeri growled as she looked at the can of peach juice Eika had given her. "3 years past date. The hell was she keeping this for!?"
"Probably in hopes that you'd come back. Here, I have some peach juice that's still in date," Eriza smiled as she handed Emeri a new can.
"Best little sister ever," Emeri smiled as she opened the can and chugged it down in seconds.
"I thought you said I'm like a little sister to you," Madoka pouted.
"Yes, an annoying and difficult to care for one, but still lovable all the same."
"Alright, now let's begin the tour," Eriza smiled.
