Chapter XXI : New Friends , Same Task

Location : Underground Base [28/09/2067]

“That Rubix Fella, She is Brutal….” Connor said, They were still talking, beside the table whilst playing Poker.
“You fought her before?” Aurora asked, being intrigued by the things Connor is Saying.
“It was during a Heist, I- She- appeared suddenly, wearing that same Metallic armor, Holding a Spear, Sharp Enough To Pierce through a Trains Roof.” Connor replied.
“You saviors are the definition of being Dumb, You know that the mission is dangerous and could potentially get you killed, But you still do it?” Val Smugly said, and afterwards, He would place a card down, The King of Hearts.

“Well… It’s what we do..” Connor replied. He threw a card at the table, Continuing the game. As Cards get thrown left and right and Chips start being tossed, Connor feels a bit of ease, a sensation he hadn’t felt in a while. Playing poker with a bunch of strangers and drinking unsolicited liquids. He never had been to a bar before the apocalypse, but his human senses just felt right.
“So.. What’s the game plan here?” Connor asked, whilst throwing cards at the table.
Hans threw all his cards on the table carelessly, every card revealing itself, All the others dropped they’re cards on the table, Connor was confused still holding his cards, Aurora nudged him and he eventually dropped his cards. The table was quiet, and the noise from the other table in the base would seek through.
“We’re going to jack a plane.” Hans said, throwing what seems to be a ship on his stack of cards.
“What?” Connor was a bit shocked, after all he had just gotten himself into a Train heist.
Hands chip suddenly turned on, A red light would surround the room, and a hologram of what seem to be an SoE carrier plane appeared, The Hologram was seamless, Connor could immediately tell the outside was a perfect replica, due to the fact that the Carrier plans had wings, that were more chipped to the side. He stood there acting confused not knowing what to make of this.
“Connor, I know you're new around here, But don’t be fooled, all one of us has hijacked at least something that was owned by the SoE. But this will be our biggest mission yet” Hans said, His Posture would straighten, Connor felt a sense of unease, Connor asked.
“Wait, why are we doing this?”
Hans quickly replied “We had just gotten information that the Plane has been earlier hijacked by the bloodhounds, and they’re plan is to crash into the farlands”
“That’s Horrible, Millions would die…” Connor reacted.
“So Boss.. When are we doing this?” Someone in the corner said, a Skinny Blonde man, with an eyepatch. Keanue was his name.
“The plane is headed in about an hour, The room will be completely dark. And there will be aliens on that ship.” Hans replied to Keanue.
“Wait… wait wait… Could you get back to the thing you said earlier, about how everyone in this table has hijacked something from the SoE…” Connor replied.
It was an honest question, The other people at the table looked at him, Hans lent closer to the table.
“We’ve changed. Ever since I took over, we vowed to never interfere with the SoE ever again.” Hans said, right before an alarm sound rings, it felt like a nuclear reactor went off. Connor was pretty shocked by the sound, he thought something serious was about to happen. A Few people from the other table started to open the doors, they were uniformed, and they seemed like they'd done this more than once. As the Sirens ended, The Door that led to the emptied subway tunnel, A Train would appear.
“That’s our stop.” Hans stood up and the others too, Aurora would grab Connor and nodded at him. The Rest of the table stood up and entered the dirtied, Graffitied train.
“Where exactly are we going?” Connor asked.
“Well The train will reach the outside, at precisely 5 minutes and 33 seconds, Just the right amount of time, for us to be exactly above the plane.” Aurora exclaimed, holding some sort of device on her wrist that tracked the train’s location and the time.
“Thank you Aurora.” Hans exclaimed, Before pulling a lever, closing the train doors, The only people in the Train were Hans, Aurora, Val Mantel, Keanue, The Ginger boy Richard, And Finally Connor.
As the Train started moving, all of them would gearing up and strapping themselves to they’re seats, Connor would be confused but following along, He seemed quite contempt with this, Thinking nothing of it, The Seats were a bit wobbly and seemed to have springs below it, But connor brushed it off as the train having crappy seats, Hans and Richard would have a conversation at the front of the train, Whilst Connor tries making Small talk with Aurora.
“So… Do you have a Partner or Anything? A Kid maybe?” Connor asked her awkwardly.
Aurora chuckled a bit, turning her head to Connor and responding.
“No, No way, I feel like if i did, they would die, the first day meeting me”
Connnor swallowed his spit for a moment, he felt awkward, and didn’t know what to say next.
“But you know, i don’t think you would apply, since you probably go on bat shit missions everyday” Aurora suddenly says.
“Uhh Yeah.. of course, Last mission i did get eaten by a giant snake, and survived” Connor quickly remarked.

“That’s Sick…” Aurora said, fascinated.

She glared at Connor for a moment, but they’re tension would be quickly cut short, Hans would alert the members onboard.
“Everyone get ready, T-Minus 60 seconds!”

Connor's seatbelt would automatically tighten by itself, Connor could see through the window a Bright light. It was pretty clear, even if the glass was covered in moss, and dirt. Aurora's Hand would shake a little, for a reason Connor will find out later. As they get closer to the light, Connor would put his hand over Aurora’s trying to comfort her, She would hooded. As it gets closer to the light, Connor would have a thought.
“Wait, how are we going to get on the plane using a train?”
But this wasn’t the time to be asking questions, As the Train left the tunnel, Aurora let go of her hand off Connors, Now Connor would start to feel a bit shaky and scared.
“Val Now!” Hans said.
Val would have the same device around his wrist as Aurora, And After pressing some buttons, the Train roof would open up, revealing the SoE plane right above they’re heads.
“Uhhh what's happening” Connor says, as he tilts his head to Aurora.
“You’ll see” Aurora exclaimed, before putting on her hood, and tightening up her seatbelt a bit more.

As they hit the exact location they needed to be,
Hans shouted “NOW”
