Dream

The trees danced along the wind, as the birds flew up to the sky. Students who were passing by laughing and giggling to their antics or the words they exchange.

A young lad who was around in his early 20's, he stared at the lively atmosphere of the campus where he studied as his raven locks danced with the breeze, two hazel orbs sternly stared at the peaceful scenery that bestowed upon his sight. A light sigh escaped from his lips as he continued to walk towards the school gate.

When he was about to leave the school grounds he suddenly felt nauseous, making him lose his balance as he hit the ground unconscious.

The young man woke up after a short time but he was welcomed by infinite darkness.

"Hello?" he asked which made echoes to the complete dark place.

'I might be lost?' he questioned himself while looking around the empty dark place.

"Rin Frego" a shallow female voice ran through his ear which made him look around, more aware of his surroundings.

"Rin" the voice passed by his left ear again, making Rin look at his side but only to see no one in sight.

"Save humanity" it said.

Rin took a deep breath as he mustered up his courage to ask the voice. "Who are you?"

His echoes fade into the unknown, hoping the voice will answer his question but only to find silence from the place.

"Sa— ve.. Yo— si— er—.." the mysterious voice said in a defect speech.

The raven haired furrowed his eyebrows not understanding what the voice was trying to say until he heard a loud screech that could almost make you lose your sense of hearing.

Rin quickly covered both of his ears and groaned in pain. Two pairs of strong arms held both of Rin's arms screaming at a disoriented voice.

"SAVE THE HUMANITY"

Rin shakingly looked at the form who was gripping from his arms but only to find its half part of its head was missing, revealing its long tongue and sharp disoriented teeth screaming loudly.

"SAVE THE CROWNED PRINCESS"

The creature gripped harder from Rin's arms as its voice kept higher and more disoriented than before.

"RUN, RIN!"

Rin gripped on his ears as he was groaning from pain and losing his breathing. He was suffocating, unable to steady his breathing the creature laughed and screamed.

"RIN!"

"RINNNNNN!"

"RIN FREGO!"

Rin quickly shot his body up as he breathed heavily with his lungs.

He shookly reached for his ear making sure he did not lose his sense of hearing but he stopped when suddenly a familiar wavy brunette haired young lady barged inside from his room.

"Goodmorning, my idiotic big brother Rin!" the brunette greeted her older brother with a huge grin plastered on her face.

Rin only smiled by the warm greetings from his sister.

"Have you eaten yet?" Rin softly asks as he straightens his beddings.

The young lady strolls around her big brother's room as she bluntly answers with a no.

Rin simply rolled his eyes as he strode out from his room as his younger sister followed him from behind.

Yunaria kept on talking about what happened from her class trip which ended yesterday and she just arrived earlier around dawn, as Rin cooked breakfast for the both of them listening to his younger sister's experiences and rants about the trip.

When he finished cooking he carefully placed the food on its rightful places as he let out a small satisfied hum to his creation. Pancakes, his younger sister's favorite.

As they both dine for their breakfast Yunaria asked what happened to Rin while she was away.

"So what happened to the house while I was away?" she asked as she took another bite from her pancake. Rin just shrugs his shoulders answering that nothing special happened while she was away.

Yunaria let out a deep sigh as she looked at the wall clock behind Rin's figure.

"Say.. You do know that you're late for your morning class" she bluntly said as she took another mouthful of pancake to her mouth.

Rin suddenly freezes as he slowly looks at his back to see the time.

'Ah.. Shit.. I'm late..' he thought.

He quickly shovels the last half piece of pancake to his mouth as he aggressively drinks water, rushing towards his room quickly grooming himself.

He swiftly wore his shoes and quickly bid his younger sister a quick goodbye as he sprinted out of the house worried that his professor will punish him again for being late.

Yunaria on the other hand was left alone in the house. Doing the dishes when she suddenly asked herself.

"Did he recover his memories from a millennium ago?"
