Gift

A yawn escaped from Rin's lips as he cleaned the convenience store, Barely keeping his eyes awake until he fully drifted away from his drowsiness.

"Rin" a hallowed voice called him by his name.

'ugh.. I want to sleep more' he groaned from his thoughts not wanting to be awakened.

"Rin, save humanity" it said, which made Rin open his eyes and see nothing but the busy streets of the city.

He was standing at the middle of the road, while people walked passed by him minding their own business.

Rin silently blinked around the place as he mumbled to himself.

"Oh.. I just finished my shift.." he looked up from the bright and clear sky kissing his face from the sunlight that was shining above him.

He closed his eyes enjoying the warmth that the sun is giving him, ignoring the people around him.

When suddenly someone called him by his last name.

"Frego"

Rin quickly fluck his eyes open, revealing the two beautiful hazel brown eyes as he alarmly looked towards the direction where the voice was.

He cautiously looked around his surroundings, when suddenly the busy city where he was earlier turned into a ghost town. The bright and warm sunlight that was hugging him earlier, lost its light and warmth.

"Rin" a light and cheerful voice ringed around his ear, it was his younger sister's voice.

"Yunaria, Where are you?" Rin shouted as his feet started to sprint.

"I'm here!" her voice echoed around the silent city which made Rin become easier to track down where his little sister is.

"Yunaria, wait for your older brother okay?" he responded as he ran towards Yunaria's voice.

"Now be a good girl, okay?" he added as he kept running through the vast and silent city.

"Yes!" her cheerful voice made Rin sigh of relief while kept on running.

Ongoing pants and rushed footsteps coming from Rin's, echoed through the silent ghost town.

"Brother I'm here!" Yunaria called as she waved her hand towards Rin's direction. A smile formed to her face which made Rin even sprint faster than before.

As Rin was getting close to his sister's destination. Yunaria stretched her hand out for her older brother to hold her hand, a grin formed to Rin's lips as he reached for his sister's hand only to fade away from thin air.

The grin that was on his face suddenly turned sour as he could see his sister fading when he was about to hold her in his arms.

"Help" Yunaria cried a sad smile plastered on her face as her form fades away from the sight of Rin.

Rin just froze from his spot not knowing what to do or what just happened. Stunned from the sudden changes. When a cry was heard beside him.

He looked at his side and saw a girl crying. She kept on crying and crying but Rin didn't bother to talk to the girl he was still in shock from what happened to his sister.

"You failed to save her again" she cried which made Rin look at her full of shock and terror when he saw the face of the crying girl.

"YOU FAILED TO SAVE HER— YOU FAILED TO SAVE HUMANITY—" a disoriented voice emerged from the girl. The girl did not have a face to begin with, which made Rin start to run from terror.

As he kept running the girl seemed to find him easily screaming in a displeasing voice. "YOU KILLED HER"

"NO!" he screamed.

Rin quickly covered both of his ears as he continued to run away from the faceless girl.

His heart started to thump hard enough to lose his breathing but he just kept on running and running from the ghosted city.

"YOU KILLED HER"

"YOU FAILED TO SAVE HUMANITY"

The creature keeps on repeating the same two sentences which made Rin feel more guilty and scared that he might have killed his own sister.

He was trying to escape from the faceless girl but he lost his footing when a hand gripped on to his ankle making him fall to the hard ground.

A groan escaped from his lips as he slowly sat himself up holding his head from the impact.

"Disgraceful" a lady's voice whispered to Rin as its tongue entered his earlobe.

"RIN!"

Rin quickly flung his eyes open as he looked up with a horrified look from his face.

"Your shift is done, Rin." said the ginger haired senior from the school he attended. His amber eyes stared at the look that was Rin giving to him.

He simply raised a brow and asked him if he was alright.

Rin quickly apologized from the way he looked at him earlier which made the ginger head lad laugh at Rin's face that was panicking.

"You can go now, Rin. Leave the store to me and have a safe trip going home" he said.

Rin gives Kyle a look but Kyle shoos him away from the store which Rin obliged as they both said their goodbyes and went down to their own business.

As Rin was walking home he thought of what was the dream he had earlier that made him scared. When there was no sign of him remembering his dream, he let out a deep sigh as he thought of what they would have for dinner tonight.

Meanwhile at Frego's home.

"A gift?" A gentle yet stern voiceof a female came from Yuriana's room as she bowed down her head, her golden short locks smoothly falling from her face. Wearing a royal butler suit.

Yunaria let out a deep sigh as she looked at the fine lady that was bowing her head down from Yunaria's view.

"Yes a gift for my brother" The brunette sweetly confirmed the fine lady.

"Would you like to assist me?" She asked as her eyes glimmered with expectation and anticipation.

The mysterious lady raised her head up as she slowly opened her eyes, revealing two lavender hue orbs towards the young maiden

"As you wish, Miss"
