  • ❖ Novels must be written in English and contain original content.
  • ❖ No AI-generated content for the novel (AI-generated cover art is allowed).
  • ❖ No previously published works (on Honeyfeed or other platforms).
  • ❖ No plagiarism, fanfiction, or overly inspired works.
  • ❖ No sexual content.
  • ❖ You may submit multiple novels, but each must meet the chapter and word count requirements. However, only one novel per author will be eligible for a prize.

  • Start Date: October 1, 2024
  • End Date: October 31, 2024
  • Winners Announced: Mid-November 2024

How to Enter

  1. Plan your story: Your novel should revolve around the themes of "Halloween" and "Sweet Nightmares." It doesn’t have to be horror, suspense, or violent—just reflect the season’s spirit in your unique way.
  2. Start Posting: From October 1st, a submission button will appear on Honeyfeed. Only new novels will be eligible, so make sure to post your story after this date.
  3. After posting your first chapter, ensure it appears in the contest section on the Honeyfeed homepage.

Posting Guidelines

  • Your first chapter counts as 1 of 15, even if it's a prologue (Chapter 0).
  • Chapters must be posted on different days throughout October.
  • Posting multiple chapters on the same day will lead to disqualification.

Completion Checklist

  • Minimum of 15 chapters, each posted on different days.
  • Your novel has a minimum of 10,310 words and a maximum of 20,240 words.
  • Your novel has a synopsis and a cover image.
  • The novel’s status is set to "Finished" with a complete ending.

Additional Notes

  • You can upload your cover later, but it must be uploaded by October 30, 2024.
  • The cover can be AI-generated or created via Canva (available on Honeyfeed).
  • Multiple submissions are allowed, but only one can win.
  • Ensure Amazon gift cards are redeemable in your country.
  • Teens must have a Teen-Login on Amazon to claim their prize.
