Saratoga is a young witch who's journeying across the hills of Golgotha to find a cure for her mother's curse. If she can't return by the day of Halloween with the Teardrops of Life in hand, her mother will pass away.

Along the trip she enlists the aid of a rind denizen known as Moliugas, who claims to have once been a great prince, but was now cursed for a crime he didn't commit. Both seek after the same prize and will need each other's help to survive.
