Proxima Ascension

In a dystopia, the citizens are living in a seemingly perfect utopia that's controlled by a domineering entity known as the "Dream Weaver." This evil force drains them of their free will. A rebel who has managed to retain their ability to think independently joins a group of like-minded individuals to fight against the Dream Weaver. They set out to rouse citizens from their dream-induced slumber and restore them. They discover that the Dream Weaver has been manipulating citizens to create a docile and compliant society. The rebels encounter a few brave citizens who have managed to break free, and they all work to disrupt the Dream Weaver's hold. They launch a daring attack on Dream Weaver's stronghold; They are able to defeat the Dream Weaver and restore the citizens' ability to dream. Though, the citizens are left to rebuild their shattered world, free from the Dream Weaver's tyranny. The rebels are hailed as heroes, but they know that the fight for freedom is never truly over.
