If I Don't Do What The Manticore Says SHE'LL EAT ME... but she's actually kind of a sweetheart

Sokoro Abdi is one unlucky dude, which is funny because his first name means "Lucky One". At least, that's what he thinks. He has suffered a great deal of misfortune throughout his life, some of it was out of his control, some of it not so much, but there was no way he could have prepared for an encounter with a freaking manticore. Seriously, the city of Brandy has a pretty big population. How is it that out of everyone living there, he was the one person walking past a lake, on his way home from work, at the exact same time a manticore crawled out of it? This manticore just so happens to be a female, named Kama.

Naturally, she tries to eat him, but he manages to use his brand communication skills to convince her that pizza tastes way better than he does. Unfortunately, it does and Kama decides to stay with Sokoro in order to have more experiences in the human world... or she still wants to eat him.

Now he has to juggle work, school, and a needy, (but nice) man-eating monster.
