SIN EATER - Worst S class hero's ascent to Plaguelord from a Common Herbalist Job !

Otto Bernard is an average dude who is boring, somewhat religious, lonely, and hates his part-time job at the local fast food joint. Though he did have old high school friends, he didn't want to connect with them out of shame. He cannot bring himself to count himself as the same; their successes in life make him feel out of place. 

He finds solace in a gacha game, and his devotion only increases as he meets a certain girl in class who is also a player ! In a bid to grow closer to her, he begins spending more time gaming and whaling and, as a result, is fired from his job due to declining performance. Broke and desperate, he reluctantly agrees to an old friend's help and is hired as a beta tester. However, in a fantasy world of Mechs and superpowers, all brought to life by VR technology, our hero lands the worst class. Herbalist. However, the game allows him to see his character's future as compensation. And Otto soon finds out that the herbalist class is not what it seems.
