Clockwork Chronicles of Zahn: The Orphans

In a parallel reality mechanical things don’t work without a touch of magic.
Picture the Victorian era with steam engines and other clockwork marvels and high magic.
Now the benevolent Empress is in danger of being killed by assassins and her only hope relies on a group of unusual street orphans and an immortal soldier.

This steampunk story was inspired by my love of Jules Verne and other classic sci-fi.
