Kazuki Magaribuchi, a young man from the small town of Yoshino, makes his way to the bustling, bright city of Tokyo, hoping to find inspiration for his music and opportunities to share it with the world. He soon discovers that making his way in this world of lights and busy streets is not as easy as he hoped. Playing his guitar in Yoyogi Park, refusing to give up on his dreams, Kazuki meets Renka Akahane. Mustering up the courage to speak with her, he soon finds himself connecting with a kindred spirit, someone who also loves music and wishes to make a name for herself in the industry. The two team up to write music together, aiming for first prize in the prestigious Sakura Song Festival. As the pair grows closer, their resolve and dedication to their music is tested. Will they manage to soar to new heights together, or clip each other's wings?

I will try to update weekly if I can, but I will be at a conference from June 26-July 4, and out on vacation from July 19- August 2. I plan to have around 20 ish chapters of the story by the end, so I hope you'll stick around until then!
I hoped to finish for the MAL writing contest, but unfortunately, life got in the way. That said, I will still be continuing the story whenever I can, taking my time to make it as good as possible.
