Where is the line between man and monster?

When university psych student Arlo Beck awakens after his death, he finds himself in a strange and dangerous world where humanity is locked in a generations-long war with legions of demonic creatures. Dragons raze the countryside, gargoyles darken the skies and scores of infernal soldiers march with insatiable hunger to extinguish humanity once and for all.

And now Arlo is one of them.

Reborn as an incubus, a creature that thrives off emotion, he finds himself indebted to one of demonkind’s most promising new captains. As he navigates the brutal society of the warcamps, where pride and honor are paid for in blood, and death is sometimes only a single slight away, he is faced with an undeniable truth: they’re really not all that different. In fact, despite the cultural taboo surrounding emotions, it seems that plenty of demons are rife with them.

So is violence the problem, or the answer?
