It Hit Me Like a Truck

When he got hit by a truck, Yorito was sent to ER rather than a fantastical world of whimsy. Left with a permanently disfigured jaw and divorced parents in a country he doesn't feel truly at home in, he drives through with a dry yet optimistic sense of humour, and the comfort of nerdy hobbies that embody his upbringing in a grungy European hospital. Desperate for a normal life, Yorito clutches an opportunity for new friendship with both hands. Although the invitation to hang out may have been a glorified advertisement, it leads him to a new job where he endeavours to overcome his unsightly appearance and finally find profound connection for the first time in his life.
