August who is on vacation in the countryside meets a strange man. He acts as if they have known each other for years. He then reveals his true nature and her destiny. It lies beyond the ruined arches.

This novel well the location is based on somewhere I went with my family on vacation! I highly recommend Devon although sadly there were no gorgeous winged men nor doorways to another world.
