Rite Of Passage

Sometimes we get swept in someone and we do things without thinking things through. and when they're gone... all we have left is to go and pick up the pieces of what's left of our lives. Inspired by the Poem "An Invitation from Thanatos" by Mayo Hoshino and "Into the Night" by YOASOBI, this short story follows the main character throughout his journey after he "set off running toward the night sky" and found himself lying in a hospital bed after he alone miraculously survived the fall.
