This is a spin-off story based of YOASOBI's music video "Into the Night" as well as the story "An Invitation from Thanatos. This short story will follow an invisible narrator who only limits himself to observe the events around him. Someone who can give more insight into the thoughts of the higher beings known as "Gods".

I know many people won't read the this note, but I have to say that "Into the Night" and "An Invitation from Thanatos" hold a special place in my heart. YOASOBI is definitely one of my favorites and their music is extremely relatable to me in many ways.
A long time ago, I suffered from depression (I occasionally still do) and was in a very dark place in my life. One could say that I was a Thanatos back then, which is why I like YOASOBI's song so much, haha.
My point being (I'm running out of characters) that I managed to overcome that depression to find myself here to participate in my contest. I believe it is fate or maybe simply luck.
I do not know if my story will be good at showing what I feel for the song and the story, but I know that I did my best. I'm satisfied with that.
